Vauttrin Construction

Having used Frank Vautrin on a previous project, we were confident to use Vautrin Construction for this project. The first floor joists had to be replaced and with it the interior walls, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and utility room were demoed. Every stage of the project went smoothly from demo to clean up. They understood the needs and requirements for a house on Lake Ontario. They made recommendations based on their experience with water front properties. Frank and Lance did not let us down. We had full confidence they were providing us with a quality and professional job. They advised us on a regular basis on the progress of the work which lasted just over three weeks. Upon completion, we were not disappointed and pleasantly surprised with the results. Vautrin Construction takes great pride in their work and it certainly shows. We will use them again.

Vautrin Construction was easy to contact. We set up a date and time to meet. Frank and Wendy arrived promtly to review their services and the lob at hand. Because our house has water front and can receive high winds, it was important they understood the conditions the house was exposed to. We discussed the products for siding and the prep work required. Also, unique to the job, a 275 gal. fuel tank would have to be moved to perform the work. Within a week, I received their proposal. Of the two proposals I received, Vautrin construction provided a better ethic of professionalism and was substantially less. The work was started as agreed upon. The old cedar shakes were removed. An area of damage by carpenter ants was repaired and treated. Two replacement windows were installed. The house was wrapped in Tyvek. Fanfold foam leveling/insulating board was installed pryor to the vinyl siding. The installation was done in a courteous and professional manner. At the end of each construction day, the work site was cleaned. Frank was on the job site every day. I was very pleased with the whole process.
