Had some difficulty getting any mitigation at first, but Lance and the team came back and made it right by installing another suction point, which took my radon down to well below 2.7.

Lance and team are great. They installed a system with aesthetics in mind, tucking piping into the joice and a cabinet. Our radon levels were on the high side and the mitigation result was just a bit over 1 pCi/L. Highly recommend.

A radon mitigation system was installed by the previous owner just before they sold the house to me. I wish they would have let me install it as the cheap noisy exhaust fan was installed just outside my bedroom window. It was so loud that I had to put a timer on it so it would shut off at night--obviously not ideal for radon mitigation. I finally decided that I needed to talk with someone about a quieter fan. I submitted the inquiry with HomeAdvisor and Peter from Lance Dorfi called me within an hour. We discussed my needs and even told me what model he intended to install so I could look it up and see the reviews which got excellent ratings for quietness. The install crew was professional, came when they told me they would, called before arriving and replaced the fan and checked some other items and made sure I did not have any concerns before they left and left a radon test so we could make sure it is functioning as expected.. What a difference!! I now leave the fan on 24/7 (the way it is supposed to be used) and I sleep like a baby. Thank you Lance Dorfi!

This is an update to a review posted last week where I mentioned there were a few things I wasn't happy about. Lance Dorfi saw my review and contacted me for scheduling another visit to fix it, and indeed they have! They replaced the lid with a see-through one, replaced the exterior outlet and foam sprayed all gaps. These guys won't abandon unhappy customers. My basement radon level is less than 1.5 now. That's customer service!

Efficient team, did what they said they would do and brought the radon level below 4 as promised. A few things I was not too happy about included the exterior outlet plastic cover which was left loosen, use of silicone on the outside no spray foam insulation around the holes, the cover on the sump pump is all black with no window so I cannot tell if there is any water in there. If my sump pump fails I will discover it when it is too late. I have a dehumidifier which they hooked to the cover with simple tape. Mission accomplished but the quality of work and materials is not what I thought I will be getting. Just do your research so you know what to look for and set expectations ahead of time.

They were the only company to answer my inquiry, but were prompt in their reply and follow through. They were extremely professional, explained the options clearly and accurately, stood by their proposal/estimate, and over all were a pleasure to work with.

We needed to improve upon our existing mitigation system. I got quotes from other companies that basically guessed at a solution. Lance and his team came and were willing to perform preliminary testing to see where the new pipes would be best placed. With actual data in hand instead of "drill and hope it works" we were able to find a location that worked effectively. The radon was hovering around 4 to 5 and now has reduced to 1.7 on average. I'm confident in recommending Lance and his team.

I still try to get them to do my AIRaider machine service. They correctly determined that the problem with loosing hot water for 15-20 min was not an AiRaider but well pump (Tank them) and I fixed it with your help recomending me the well pump replacement company. I'd like them to do maintenance to AiRaider that I will be able to change their rating to 5 stars.
