We had many odd electrical jobs needing to be done. After we called, Veith was out within a couple of days for the estimate. The estimate given was in the same ball park as the other 2 we received. The work was able to be scheduled for a day that was convienent for us. My husband was very impressed with how professional the workers were. They worked cleanly and quickly. It took as long as they said in the estimate it would take. No mess was left. They even installed a new outlet for us for free when they saw that we were running an extension cord to reach the closest one. We have already referred Veith Electric to friends. If we have any other electric work to be done, I won't hesitate to call.

Mr. Veith was very professional. I explained what I had wanted he gave me options to choose from and listened to my ideas. He was prompt and curteous. He explained what the work entailed and how many times they would have to return to complete each step of the job. The first visit was to be lengthy to set the leg work for everything. The person Mr. Veith had sent over his name was Steven S. Steven was neat, knowledgeable and explained along the way what he was doing. Couldn't have asked for a nicer guy. The next visit was after cabinets were installed for the lights under the cabinets and the final visit was installing the lights, microwave, new fan in dining room. I couldn't be a happier customer as I am right now. Thank you Steven S. and Mr. Veith for taking part in my first renovation.

Before I purchased my home almost 2 years ago, I had the electrical system inspected. Don Veith came out to perform the inspection and he was very punctual. This was important because I had other houses to look at and was on a tight schedule. Don was very professional and nice. He certainly knew what he was doing. He gave the house an electrical sound bill of health. He had some good recommendations such as getting a service amperage upgrade because it was an old house (1952) and even offered his services. Well it's been almost 2 years that I've been living in the house and I have not encountered one problem with the electricity, despite having more electrical appliances that I'm sure have not been used in this house before I moved in. I plan on getting the upgrade, but not just yet. Based on my initial contact with Veith, I would use them. I don't recall what he charged for the inspection, but I'm sure it wasn't much (I guess that's why I don't remember the price). Punctual, professional, I was pleased with the service.

The story is fairly brief - - we called Mr. Veith at night and he showed up the next day at 7:15 AM. He found the problem with the outlets in about 30 minutes, fixed things, and charged a reasonable price. Very kind man.

I was having a problem with the circuit breaker and, when I called, the person who answered the call tried to help me fix it over the phone so that I wouldn't have to pay to have a serviceman come to the house. When I couldn't fix the problem, she dispatched the repairman that day. He answered all my questions and was very professional.

The Veith representative was very professional and complete in his assessment of things that could affect the cable reception (Optimum Online problem) and did an absolutely beautiful job in installing the shut-off switches (required by town codes) and the outside power outlet (with the wiring completely invisible). Can't say enough about the work he did. We have used Veith several times in the past and have NEVER been disappointed.
