+ -1 moreThe project was never started as agreed upon. Therefore, it did not go well. I am in disbelief that this contractor acted in this way
Description of Work: Contractor gave estimate. Price was agreed upon. We agreed on a first available start date in three weeks. He came to home to preview job prior to starting the next day and said he didn't want to do the job any longer. Said it was "A real pain in the neck" and wanted to back out of the job. This was a total inconvenience. Now I have to find another contractor to do the work and try and get the room ready for a holiday, causing a huge inconvenience and This is unprofessional and inconsiderate.

+ -1 moreAl arrived on time, as stated. He worked diligently and neatly, and did cleanup afterwards. I thought I would have to postpone the work and get someone else to remove the medicine cabinet because it had lights, and these were directly wired into the wall ( I had assumed that it was plugged in). Al said he could handle that, and he did. The wallpaper looks great! I will definitely call upon him again.
Description of Work: Wallpapering for small bathroom: I had removed the wallpaper, although that could have been included in the job. First morning, he prepared the walls, removing paste residue and the medicine chest (which was wired for electric), and spackled and sanded where needed; the following morning, he papered the walls.
