Recycle Depot

Scheduled dumpster pickup today. Employee scraped the driveway and pulled up some lawn when loading the dumpster. He argued with the customer, even telling her that she should "go on her hands and knees" to try to clean the mess. This was the most unprofessional service we have ever received from a vendor. Their employee also took out his phone to video the conversation, where he clearly was disrespectful and downright rude. Upon calling their office, I did not get much of a better response. Their Sales Manager, Nancy, was rude and had no interest in trying to resolve the issue, other than telling me it wasn't her problem. If you are looking for profession, honest service- GO ELSEWHERE.

We ordered Top Soil from Recycle Depot for our vegetable garden. We expected a big harvest, but instead nothing grew. Not even weeds, and not even earthworms, which both should have thrived in fresh top soil. The dirt did not hold water, due to a lack of organic matter, which, by definition, top soil should contain. After a completely unfruitful growing season, we contacted Recycle Depot, who freely admitted that there 'top soil' was not top soil at all, but merely whatever dirt they were able to shake out of the roots of trees they were hired to remove. In order to refund our money, Recycle Depot said they would have to come out and run a soil test. After weeks of calls, he finally showed up in our driveway completely unexpectedly to run his soil test. After several more weeks of phone calls, they finally told us that the soil test was indeterminate, but offered to refund our money. It took several more phone calls before the check was mailed out, and when we received it, we found that they had only refunded the soil price, and kept the delivery charge.
