Organic Matters is owned by Heather Whitefield, a landscape gardener and Hudson Valley native with over 25 years of experience in residential garden design and construction.We approach our projects with the idea that landscape design and garden maintenance are two sides of the same coin. A garden is more successful when it is cared for with the design intention in mind. And good design always takes long-term care and sustainability into account.

Heather is the one that you want to talk to; she owns it. They did everything that I wanted them to do and it was a lot of work. They are fantastic. I have gardened for years, but they have more ideas. They trained a rose to go over the window. The owner worked with the people and it was a good spirit. There was none of this “I am the owner and you are the peon.” The camaraderie was really nice. They did a superb job. I think there was 8 to 10 of them working here. It was wonderful. They are expensive, but I thought the work was worth it. I feel like I got my monies worth out of them. I was very impressed with them and I will continue to use them.
Description of Work: Organic Matters does our landscaping and gardening. They have trimmed my trees and moved things around for me. They weeded and mulched.
