NEW YORK LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT

I just joined Angie's List for only the purpose of posting this review for New York Landscape Management whose services I recently used; although I got Mark Booska's info from this list, I was not a member. The service that Mark provided was superb and unbeatable. Here's what I appreciated about the experience I've had with New York Landscape Management: a) The job was thoroughly and professionally done: My backyard looked as if a tornado went through my neighborhood, whirled up all the branches, and then dumped them on my yard. In short, it looked like a thicket. But by the time that Mark and his teammate Francisco were done cleaning up the place, it's spotless, as Mark not only removed all the brush but also swept the entire area clean. His hard work and diligence are much appreciated. I could clearly tell that he loves what he does; we usually do a good job if we enjoy what we do. b) No supervision was needed: I was doing my work while Mark did theirs. I did not need to stand outside for hours directing them what to do. Mark knew exactly what he was doing, and he was doing an excellent job. With the last landscaping company I hired, I practically had to stay with the workers for hours, telling them what to do. Even with my efforts, I was not happy with their work. With Mark, I enjoyed a headache-free experience. I only peeked out from my windows several times to check on their progress. Each time I saw them working; there was no idling or dawdling. They only took a lunch break, and afterward, they quickly returned to the task on hand. I didn't have to worry about them not finishing the job by the end of the day even though there was much to clear up, as they worked efficiently. c) The price is more than reasonable: I received a handful of estimates for the work, and the price that Mark gave me was the best. I've had service providers overprice their jobs. But with New York Landscape Management, every dollar I spent was more than worth it. d) There was no unpleasant surprises: When it's time to pay, I've had service providers smack on "hidden costs" on their original estimate. But not this time; when I asked mark how much I owed him for the work after they completed the cleanup, he asked for the same amount for which he quoted me. I appreciate his honesty and good business practice. e) The company is green: Their website says that they recycle all their green waste to produce soil and mulch. From my yard, they removed three loads of brush--that's quite a bit of recyclable material. This green aspect of New York Landscape Management is like a cherry on top of an ice cream Sundae. Choosing New York Landscape Management is the best decision I've made in some time. Mark is the best landscaper I've had. He had the work done right the first time. I wished I had known him earlier; it would have saved me a lot of headache and time, not to mention money. Often, when previous landscapers left my property after "completing" their work, I felt cheated. But this time, I felt that the service I received was more than worth every dollar I spent. For this reason, I'll be a returning customer. Thank you, Mark, for a job very well done. I hope that my review will help others make an informed decision, and that they will receive the same thorough service and pleasant experience as I've had.
