The painting looks perfect!! The trim work is fantastic and all the hardware on the doors and windows was spotless when he was done. He is a one man show, so it took a little bit longer to complete the job, but we are extremely satisfied with the result. I would definitely use Tim again and highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Tim painted the entire inside of our newly purchased home. He did all the walls, ceilings (some of which are very high), and all the doors and window trim.

 + 0 moreTim is a great guy. He's very skilled at what he does, is extremely considerate of your living space and does exceptional work at a very fair price. He took care of moving and replacing a lot of the furniture (needed for access to surfaces and trim), even taking pictures to ensure things went back the way they were, and cleaned up after the work had been done. His paint recommendations were right on, and the finished job looks fantastic. He worked with our schedules, was easy to contact and work with and communicates well. Plus - he has a very dry sense of humor! I will certainly use him again later this year to paint my deck.
Description of Work: Tim repaired and painted the whole interior of my house, a small 3 bedroom raised ranch

I have had numerous painters do work for me over the years and not a single one of them could hold a candle to Tim's skill, neatness and genuine pride in the ownership of his work. Every surface not being painted was protected and each day the work areas were left spotless. His work speaks for itself. Neat, clean, professional and it looks great. If you're contemplating getting painting work done.... hire him! You will not regret it. You might get it cheaper elsewhere but you sure won't get it this good.  + -1 moreTim was fantastic! The day we called him for an estimate he fit us in on the same day and gave us a very fair price. He was able to schedule us within the next week and came on time everyday. He was by far the cleanest painter i've ever seen - you wouldn't even know he was there! He was very thorough and ensured that any imperfection in the wall was corrected (we have an older house and had a lot of nail pops coming through the old drywall and he corrected all of them). I really cannot say enough about Tim, he really did a wonderful job! We already have a quote for our kitchen and will definitely be using him again in the very near future!
Description of Work: We had drywall corrected where an old through-the-wall AC unit removed, multiple walls taped, spackled and primed, and had our main living areas (living room, dining room, hallway and foyer) painted.

When asked if he could also caulk around another tub in a different bathroom which was not part of the original estimate he immediately did it and did not charge. He was courteous and punctual. Also helped is selecting a color for the paint. I would definitely hire NV painting again.
Description of Work: A large master bathroom that had part of the wallpaper taken down. He removed the remainder of the wallpaper. plastered where walls needed to be repaired and painted the bathroom. He also cleaned around the tub and sink and applied new caulking.

 + -1 moreWe were about to leave on vacation when the leak in the bathroom wall was discovered. The plumber came, cut out part of the wall (there was no access door) and diagnosed the problem. By the time the new assembly arrived and was installed, we were running out of time. I only had time to get the estimate from this painter, which seemed fair, and pick out the color before we left. The work was completed before we returned, and it was perfect. The bathroom has a very high, slanted ceiling with a skylight, and it was all very neatly and professionally done.
Description of Work: An area where the bathroom wall had been water-damaged and replaced needed caulking and taping. This was done very well as was the entire bathroom painted. The work was neatly done, and my husband said the taping couldn't have been done better. There is dark trim and the paint was light; there wasn't a bit of paint on the trim.

 + -1 morehe started on a Monday and continued to work thru Friday he completed the painting by the following Tuesday as we had agreed upon. he was extremely professional and made sure that we were satisfied with each days progress and when we had any concerns he addressed them immediately. I was extremely statisfied on how the work was done and the final results.
Description of Work: I called Tim to provide an estimate to paint the entire interior of my town house. He arrived on time and provided me with an estimate and potential extras. I agreed with his estimate and scheduled a start date, he contacted me a week prior to the work to be done to make sure that we were continuing with the project and what his arrival time would be. He advised me that the work would take approximately one week. We set up a schedule of his work day and he arrived each moring promptly and completed the painting within the time frame. His work was excellant i was extremely pleased with his ability to arrive on time, and not dropping any paint and him taking extreme care of the furniture and florring being covered at all times and cleaning up each day by removing his tarps and paint from the area. He was extremely professional and always asking if we were satisfied with the progress and the work being done. He brought to my attention, any problems he was having as he was repairing some of the walls and how he would proceed. I would definately recommend him to all of Angies List customers and wouild use again should the need arise.

Description of Work: Had 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room dining room and 1 bathroom that needed taping, caulking, and painting. It was a tenant house and there was extensive work to be done as the tenant had painted some of the walls a dark color. The price was very reasonable, I no longer have the paperwork, and the work was done by the deadline I stipulated. Very good taping.
