I have dealt with over 25 different contractors for the project of building my house and Lyndsey Roofing hands down has been one of the best. The owner took his time with me analyzing and creating a plan to get things right. His team is hard working and does the right thing. I would definitely hire this again.

The work when as plan on the date given and the roof looks great. They installed air vents into the shingles that allow more air to enter the attic on those hot and humid days when the temperature in the attic can reach over 120 degree. Some may not like the look of it, but it looks nice to me. A portion of my living room ceiling was damage during the roof deck installation and they came back a day later to repair the sheetrock. I did discover a hair line crack in another section of the ceiling that I fail to mention. As of this writing it is raining extremely hard outside so I checked to see if there was any leak especially from the skylights and there is no leaks. By the way, their quote was the lowest from three other reputable roofing in the Dutchess County area. I would hire again. J.M.

Lyndsey Roofing LLC cut our vinyl siding for roof to wall transition and left a large ‘black’ border around roof area. This ‘black’ border looks terrible and is an eye sore to us. Our neighbors have a new roof replacement done with another GAF Elite Master contractor and we saw their roof didn’t have any ‘black’ border for roof to wall transition exposing the unsightly flashing. Lyndsey Roofing didn’t prepare site correctly (used torn tarp and was not anchored). The roofing debris fell through tarp torn opening and damaged landscaping. We found over 300 nails on our lawn and landscaping because they did poor cleanup job. We noticed they installed regular shingles on our back roof corner area before Starter Strip shingles. They didn’t follow GAF guidelines for layering down shingles row by row and used staple without plastic cap when installing DeckArmor barrier. Lyndsey Roofing did a poor job for us and we don’t recommend them.

Excellent service and work

Bill was incredibly professional, detail-oriented and overall a great and honest guy! I highly recommend! He solved my elderly parents' "intermittent" leaking roof problem (after several other "roofers" had been paid to repair the leaks). Unfortunately, due to the various patchwork from the other roofers, we had to replace the entire roof. It was definitely expensive but totally worth it. Now my parents don't worry every time it rains. Bill even repaired my parents' driveway where the dumpster had damaged a small area.

Bill, the owner, helped me work through various options while planning the project. During the install he answered all my questions promptly and was committed to doing an excellent job. His foreman and crew did excellent work and I am very happy with the result. Some roofers claim they can work with slate but don't have the depth of experience that these guys do. I am happy to recommend Lyndsey Roofing.

The work went well. The installers were top notch. The one problem we ran into was the lack of communication as to when the work was to be started and/or when the workers would actually arrive. This included the gentleman who showed up unexpectedly at our house one early morning for the purpose of dropping off the equipment need for the installation the following day. That was the first time we when the work would be started. But after all was said and done, we were very happy with the work. I would still highly recommend them.

Bill was very responsive. He was able to come over, inspect and quoted a price. The work got delayed because of a snow storm but once the weather cleared he was able to schedule right away and get the work done,

We could not believe how quickly and affectvly our new roofing system was put on . In a matter of a few days that had torn off rotted roof planks and replaced them with new ones , shingled , soffited and insulted our roof . They also took one additional day to install the gutters . Overall it was a 3 day job and very worth it .
