The older I get the less I like to walk around the large box stores to find what I want. I sat at my computer and scanned both the Lowes and Home Depot websites for what I wanted. Both stores carry different brands, such as circular saws, but the pricing seemed to be within a comparable range. I placed my order and paid over the Internet. Both Lowes and Home Depot package their Internet orders and have them waiting at the Courtesy Desk for pickup by the customer. I've found this a timesaver way to shop at both stores if I don't need to physically look at an item in the store. I received a phone call the same day or day after placing my order telling me the order was ready, so response time to my Internet order was quick. I had a back order on a pair of safety goggles at Lowes that they had estimated would take about a week to come in. It was in within two days of the original order.

The two workers that delivered the washer were very nice. They were quick and efficient. I would definitely buy from lowes again.

It is convenient to my house and everybody there is good and friendly. The pricing is fair. We had no problems.

We had purchased warranties. Their computer systems changed and initially had trouble locating the warranties. They ended up finding these and making good and fixing the appliances. The appliance repair they sent from Connecticut was exceptionally good. Vicki, one of the managers at the store was really good about following up with us on this matter.

My experience with them was good. I actually did not go there, it was a deal on Angie's List where I could get a $20 gift card for $5, so I went in like two weeks after and I spent it all. Everything went fine, I got what I needed. I had no issues.

DELIVEAND AND PLACED AS INSTRUCTED

We bought an over-the-range microwave to replace the old one that had stopped working. The purchase was made Sunday, 5/19/2013. We were told it would likely be installed in a few days. By Wednesday, 5/22, we still not been contacted to set an installation date. I called the store twice that day (5/22) to get a status on the installation. Each time I was connected to the installation department but the phone rang and rang and no one answered. Then I asked to speak with the manager. His initial response was mostly and quot;they'll get to it when they get to itand quot;. Finally he agreed to have someone call me the next day. Someone did - with an installation date of 6/6/2013. That's 19 days since the purchase. We are in our 70's and care for our 2 year old grandson during the day. We need the microwave. If we had known the installation would be so far in the future we would never have bought it at Lowe's. Update: the installation actually took place today 5/30/13. It only took about 30 minutes since it was just a matter of lifting the old one out, sliding the new one in, and plugging it in.

It went well - the installers came, finished a rather large job in two days, all at a fair price.

The installer came back two weeks later and put the door in. The door was installed perfectly. We were very happy with everything, and thinking of them to install garage door openers.

They did a good job. I would be happy to have them install more windows. I would use them again in the future.

My experience with them was mostly positive. The problem was not with Lowe's since they were fine. My front door is only 31.5 on the old part of the house because I live in an old house. It was a problem to get the door to fit without spending an exorbitant amount of money to have one made. The door is a Larson door and I have the same door on the 31.5 and on the 36. The door itself has some inherent problems with the hardware. It wasn’t a cheap door. So, it was a problem with the door than Lowe's. In fact, the installer has come by and fixed it whenever I said anything about it. If I call them right now, he will come and fix the door knob for me for free again. So, it has been wonderful for that. I spent $950 for the door and it was $97 to install each door. That was when they had a special offer and the doors were a little over $300 a piece after tax. The price was cheap. I had to have two installers. The first installer who came was kind of flaky. He came on a Sunday when I wasn’t even here. So, they couldn’t do the job. I went to the store and they promptly gave me another installer. I would use their services again. In fact, I am going to Lowe's today for tile since I am tiling my window sills in the garage.

It was wonderful. One door on my building was not square and had some problems but the installer did an excellent job working out the problem. He didn’t charge me any extra and it is fantastic. He cleaned up his mess afterwards, he was careful not to scratch or chip anything, and he was extremely respectful. One of the latches was loose so I called him the next day, which was a Sunday, but he came right out and fixed it in five minutes. It was not at all what I expected. I don’t like paying the price but they were cheaper than anyone else.

Everything went great. They did a good job. I had never been to one of those stores before but they had everything you could want. The store was huge. We went during the week and there were almost no customers. Everything turned out well and seems to be fine. They have a big selection. They seem to be efficient. They have good workmen working for them and they are reliable. I guess the price is good, although I did not really shop around because I didn't have a lot of time. They seemed comparable to Home Depot. It was a lot of money and a lot of flooring! About 1800 square feet of flooring.

The products that I purchase at this particular store are always the best buy for my money. I will always shop there because my overall experience is always good.

My overall experience at loews was favorable. Everything I needed was there available to me. This enabled us to quickly be able to refinish our bathroom.
