I hired Juan because he was the first to reply, and showed up to my house to review the job. I received a very fair price. Juan and his team removed and replaced on course of block around my Bilco door. They also parged by entire foundation and then sprayed on a water proofing coating. Juan did an excellent job, very professional, neat, and fast. I will definitely hire him again.

My stone steps to my front porch had sunk to the point were they were becoming hazardous. I had talked to lots of contractors about re-leveling them but it was not a big job and no one wanted to take it on. I put it on HomeAdvisor and within a few hours I had several contractors calling and looking at the job but either I got a very high price or they only wanted to do it on a T&M basis (with estimates that were very high.) When Greenstone's bid came it, it was very reasonable and firm. I was somewhat hesitant but in reading the reviews for Greenstone, I became convinced that they did very good work and were the best choice to repair my steps. Juan and his helper showed up right on time and began disassembly of the steps. On my request he brought a power compactor and a larger backing plank. They were very efficient and put all the stone dust and fill on a tarp. I am very satisfied with the effort they put in to compact the base and they did an excellent job at reinstalling the stairs. I was told by several contractors to expect it to take two or more days, but Juan and his helper completed it in just one day. We are thrilled with the work and gladly recommend Greenstone Waterproofing for any stone work repairs.

I hired Juan to repair stone walls which were damaged by the snow plows. He did a good job. Would hire again and I have more projects.

When Juan came for the estimate it was in his best interest to save us money. He told us what he could repair and what would need pulled up and redone. He completed in less than a week. He gave us what we needed using the existing stone material and dirt, adding new concrete/mortar only. Our rock wall and sidewalks look great now.

Juan is a craftsman; a real professional. This winter was harsh. Ice dam. Water destroyed our den's ceiling. This is an old house; the ceiling in the den, thick with swirls of horrible texture paint, buckled. The ceiling needed to be replaced. We contacted four contractors. All ran from the job - perhaps because this is, as said, an old house and has the quirks of do-it-yourself fixes over the years/owners. It was, admittedly, a scary job. I'm so glad those contractors ran, because we found Juan. I can't imagine, because I was at work, the mess that that old ceiling made coming down. I'll never know. The den was clean after that removal, and the new ceiling is just lovely. Juan did little touches too, like chalking in an area that has long been an eyesore between the wall and ceiling, and fixing a piece of what passes for "trim." Made a real difference. As mentioned, Juan is very professional. He is also respectful and kind. He keeps the work area clean and is considerate not to let construction invade the entire house. He is also the only person I know, besides me, that shows up on time. Never, in Dutchess County, have we experienced that prior. And you all know it. He left the den vacuumed and wiped down. Mr. Juan Oleas is the professional that I will ask back into our house to remedy more challenges of this old home. Give him a call, you will be pleased you did.

Juan is very prompt, and does good and clean work. Quote was direct on and onsite, We signed a contract, and he got started within the next day. I would definitely recommend him for any drywall work.
