We had told him that we needed a skelton key for a china close, but he only had one key. He was unprepared. He was very late. He kept postponing his arrival time, and we kept waiting around for him. We had asked him to change the middle of the front door lock. We didnt have key so we need a new "barrel" and he switch the orignal out and put the new one in wrong. He put it in horizontal and not vertical so the lock didn't work. There was a long straight piece that goes in the middle and it was too long a quarter of an inch too long. We ending up paying $75 more to get another SP to come fix it. The man name is Lyold Estes. I think another guy owned the business. I think the evaluation was from the previous owner Mr. Brenan. He kept saying he was going to come back and fix the situation and never came. I called him Sunday morning and his speech was very slurred. I called the number that was in the telephone directory and it took me to someone else named Mr. Brenan. It click over automatically to Mr. Estes. He does not deserve the evaluation on Angie's List. I would never ever hire him again, and I would never recommend him to my worst enemy. Very unreliable. The result of this that the realtor could not show the home to a potential buyer because the lock did not work. My experience was completely different to what I read on Angie's List. He really wanted cash. This issue was not resolved.

I wanted to put a deadbolt on the front door. I called Dutchess locksmith on Friday, and spoke to Pat. We made and appointment for Monday. Pat showed up and put in the new deadbolt on the front door. I asked him if he could look at our back screen door that didn't lock. He left and came back with a part to install. Now it locks.
