AVP Fence did an outstanding job, at a very fair price. Paul was responsive, and the work got done very quickly. Part of the job involved replacing a section of fence, including a corner post, that had been crushed by a large fallen tree. AVP not only made the fence good as new – including replacing the post while the ground was frozen – but they also were willing to cut and and remove the tree to an unused area of our property. All-in-all, as good an experience as one could hope for. In future, AVP is the only company that I'll be calling for any work on my fencing. About a year earlier, we were considering creating an enclosed area in the yard for our dogs. We wound up deciding not to go forward with that project, but I worked with Paul at that time, too. He was incredibly patient with and responsive to changes that we made in the plans, and his proposed price was very reasonable. My experience with him then was so positive that I didn't hesitate to call him else for this later job, and I'm glad I did.

They were a pleasure to deal with and reasonably priced. Great job. I highly recommend them.

There were some issues with my neighbors just two days before the fence was supposed to go up. Paul was very nice accommodating our issue. The fence looks great and we can now let our dog enjoy the backyard, as can we.

It went well. Work was done quickly and cleaned up well after work was done. Some of the old runs were rotting out and winter was coming. I needed the job done to protect my dogs and my peace of mind. Both are doing fine!

We were very pleased with AVP fence. I don't usually write reviews but I felt that Paul and his team definitely deserved a positive review. They did an excellent job with our fence. The material for the fence was beautiful and Paul also helped me with a couple extra yard projects for a reasonable price. Paul was very fair and fast giving us a quote, once we closed the deal they were at our house in 3 weeks as planned. They finished the project in 3 days as expected and then later came back because I wanted to changed some details with the gate hinges. They were also very caring and playful with our dog who was very intrigued with all the work and new people in our backyard. We will definitely be using AVP fence again.

He started the job and left it a quarter of the way finished. It took him a long time to come back. When he did come back the cow gate was hung way too high and the posts were not put in where we had discussed which resulted in they posts by the driveway not being where we marked them out with spray paint. It took him about 6 weeks to come back and trim the posts down. He hasn't finished doing the screws, there should be three screws per board and this is only has one. He doesn't do the work, his son and another worker do. It seems there is a break down in communication between the two of them as they don't both seem to be working off of the same set of instructions. I should have gone with the other company that I had give me an estimate as they were very professional.

Paul and his crew did excellent work on the three coldest days of the year. I would highly recommend them!

We were very happy with Paul and his crew. They came when they said they would, charged what they estimated, and did excellent work. Our terrain is rocky and uneven, but that presented no difficulty for them. They made sure we were 100% satisfied and were friendly and pleasant at all times. We recommend this company highly.

I had a really great experience. The owner was here the whole time and he has amazingly patient workers. They carried all the equipment needed by hand to put in the fence to a great height. They finished in a very reasonable amount of time. I could not be happier, and I can be picky. I got three estimates and theirs was the most reasonable. I think their price was very fair. Their responsiveness was very good. To me he was very personable. He wasn't stuffy and I got the estimate written down, he stuck with it and there was no quibbling or conversation about it.

The communication was prompt. If he was a little late he called. He did all work that he could off site, which saved us time. He did extra brush removal around the work site. The work area was left clean and neat. The company staff was pleasant and up- beat.

It went fabulous. The day that Paul came and gave us the estimate, we knew he was going to do a great job. He was very personable and understood exactly what we wanted. They showed up on time and worked proficiently and did remove and replace each section so that there was never an opening that our dog could get out. The workers were all very nice and our fence looks terrific. We would definitely hire them again and would highly recommend them to everyone.

It was done professionally, and he was there with his workers the whole time. I also had him put up a previous section of vinyl fence 5 months earlier. I had to space out due to finances, and he was fine with that. He is very funny and talkative, and will work with you and help you out whenever needed. I have dealth with alot of contractors in my day, and he is a pleasure to deal with. I need a small pole put in, and he will be doing that soon also.

I can't say enough good things about Paul and AVP Fence Company, but here are a few examples of why I so highly recommend them: Paul was the first to call when we were gathering estimates, and he stayed in touch throughout that process. AVP's prices were the most reasonable of all the estimates we received. Their work was excellent and they worked everyday as promised. They arrived either on time or early. They asked if it would be okay with us if they worked on a Sunday to make up for a day lost to rain. The entire crew was professional and friendly and they finished the job ahead of schedule. We could not be more pleased with the fence and the work they did. If you're planning on adding a fence, I strongly suggest you contact Paul at AVP.

We needed to have porch fencing/railings put on our home. We were interested in white vinyl and contacted a couple fencing companies. From a report on Angie's List the company AVP Fence had a positive review. We called them on the 17th of May. He was here on the 19th for an estimate. He actually gave us our estimate on the spot. It was 1/3 lower than the other two, so we told him he had the job. He shook hands with my husband and said he would call us before Memorial Day. So we waited nearly a week and heard nothing. Called him on May 27th to find out if he was still interested in doing the job for us. He said he was going away for the weekend and would stop by Tuesday, May 31 to pick up a 50% deposit. We waited and he never showed up, called, nothing. We're still waiting to find a contractor for this job.
