We have had nothing but fantastic service from these folks. They installed a new furnace and central air conditioner. Signed us up for yearly cleaning on both. They are respectfull and forthcoming. Email friendily and more. Thank you for all the great service.

Kyle got there earlier than expected. Made 3 checks of different parts of the system. Made a determination. Replaced the broke part. And answer questions about furnaces as he worked.

Description of Work: We called Bronson to fix our TRANE furnace. The air flow rotor had completely disintegrated and the furnace would not work at all. It was freezing temperatures (in the teens) and we needed the furnace fixed fast. Bronson did that okay (it was a Friday night), but the repair bill was enormous. We found out that TRANE does not stand behind it's equipment and would not cover any part of the repair bill, even though we had bought the furnace brand new from them only 10 years earlier. We were told, when contacting TRANE :(and also by Bronson) that these furnaces do not last more than 10 years normally. Interesting that no one, not even the installer, told us anything like that when we bought it new. Its a TRANE XL90. We would strongly recommend anyone buying a heating or air conditioning unit to buy anything other than a TRANE.

We are very sorry that you were not happy with our service, as well as Trane, and this review was the first we learned of it. We did not sell or install this furnace, and are not Trane dealers, so we cannot defend their warranty practices. Ten years is a common warranty period on equipment. We did respond to your emergency service request and sent a tech out (in a snow storm). You had told us that your usual repairman was not available. Since we were not Trane dealers, we did not have the defective part in stock. But we did make a second trip back into the shop that night and back out (a round trip of 70 miles), to put on a temporary part to make sure you had heat until your part arrived. You were also quoted a price for the installation of the repair part, and decided to have us go ahead with it (which did require another trip). The total bill was $1,317.17, which we felt was reasonable, and assumed you thought was reasonable, since you had us go ahead with the repair when the part came in several days later. We might charge more than your usual repairman, but we always have someone on call-nights, weekends, and holidays. We always try to solve our customers' problems on the first trip when possible, by sending trained, drug-tested, background checked service technicians to help them, and we always quote pricing up front, before the job is done.
