Almighty Contracting

Description of Work: I searched another website which listed Almighty Contracting. They proactively contacted me so I decided to let them quote our deck job. At the time of the 1st appt. we were called with apologies and told they'd lost track of time and could come by later or reschedule. We rescheduled for a few days later. We waited an hour after the scheduled then left. We never heard from Almighty again.

Description of Work: Our living and dining rooms and hallway had drop ceilings that were breaking down. In addition, my wife and I wanted to restore the ceiling to its original height. I did the demo myself to save money. I also took down a Z-brick wall to the original studs. There was a gas line spanning the liv/R above the drop ceiling and the original lathe and plaster ceiling. Almighty Contracting removed the gas line and then reframed the living room, dining room and hall ceiling. They installed top quality fire and sound suppression material throughout (we have a tenant occupying the 2nd floor flat). The ceiling was sheet rocked, taped, plastered, and sanded. The former z-brick wall was insulated, sheet rocked, taped, plastered and sanded. They framed the unfinished hall walls above the former drop ceiling. They sheet rocked this area and taped, plastered and sanded. They repaired, insulated, taped, plastered and sanded the walls in the living & dining rooms above the drop ceiling. They ran new wiring and installed two (2) LED recessed lights in the hall. They roughed-in electrical boxes for new light/ceiling fan fixtures. They applied one coat of primer to all the finished work.
