It was a complete and utter disaster. It was poorly managed from the start, and Adam took $340 and all I got was a hole in the ground. I wanted an outdoor lampost installed. The old one had wiring that had decayed and it no longer worked. So I needed new wiring run, about 40 feet to an existing outdoor outlet. I had dug out the lamppost and all I wanted him to do was run new wire and make the connections. After we agreed on $722.00, I gave him $340 cash as a down payment. He delayed showing up. When he did, he was confused as to where to run the wiring under the brick walkway. I had installed a PVC conduit under the brick walkway for him to run the wires but he claimed he couldn't find it. In any case, I agreed to meet him at the house to show him where the conduit was, but he didn't show. He then had a number of excuses for not showing up and then had the gall to blame me for not answering the phone (while at work). In any case, the relationship went south very fast and I asked for my deposit back. His response was that he had come out to the house 3 times after doing work in Pennsylvania and he had expenses. He refused and I refused to spend more money after bad. He also showed up with his assistant on the first visit smelling to high heaven of pot. Regardless, I'm out $340 and have nothing but a hole in the ground where the lamp post is. At this point, I'm just going to do it myself. Beware. Be warned.
Description of Work: Not sure why the ONLY category i could select is Outdoor Kitchens, but this contractor claims to do plumbing and electrical. That should be a tip off because I don't think he's good at either. I needed an outdoor lightpost installed and the wiring run to an existing outdoor connection. Simple.
