These guys are my go to for anything that I need done in my home. So glad I found them! They’ve tackled tackled everything from small repairs to installing all new windows, doors, vinyl plank flooring in my basement and moldings throughout my house. Craftsmanship has always been excellent. Just as important, they show up as scheduled and on time, something I have not been able to say about a lot of contractors.

As always Handyman Express was a pleasure to work with. No matter the issue, big or small, I know I can trust them to fix the problem. Their team is always professional and working with their management is seamless. I have been working with them for over 10 years and based on that experience, I recommend them to whomever I can... because I trust them completely.

One of the owners came & reviewed all the work. Within two days I received a written estimate & the work was scheduled for about 2 weeks later. There were two men, both working, diligently the entire day. They were clean & professional and very efficient. I was thrilled that they completed my entire bucket list skillfully and in one day. The company supplied me with their certificates of insurance & didn't bill me until the work was satisfactorily completed. They accepted a credit card or check. I originally thought their price was a little high, but they came highly recommended from a contractor I trust and in the end it was well worth the price.

The guys that worked indoors were ok. The outside guy got paint everywhere, they broke high hats, damaged woodwork. At the end of the day, they still hadn't done the original job I called for (which was a bit time consuming). The owner blamed me and said I was supposed to follow them around to make sure they did their work. Call me crazy, but all he could talk about is how he was so "highend" - that's why he charges outrageous prices. I thought the quality should match and I shouldn't be babysitting his workers. Needless to say, they are not worth the enormous amount you pay.

Jamie came recommended via family to build our new deck. He came and quoted us at approximately $19,000 to demo the existing wooden deck and replace with a Trex deck. I was told that the job would take a maximum of 2 weeks. After he tore down the existing deck, I was advised that there was a gas line on top of an old concrete stoop that needs to be moved and to move it, they would have to jackhammer out the stoop. That added more money to the job. After the first few days, the crew showed up sporadically. It took approximately 6 weeks and $30,000 to finish the deck. Jamie told me the delays came out of him having other jobs he needed to work on. I kept having to pay them in cash as he would not accept a check. The deck did come out amazing. It just cost a lot more than I expected and took a longer time. Last week, I contacted Jamie again because I have a small scuff on one of the railings and a tiny nick in one of the boards. The estimate he gave me to fix was $1,500. Another company told me they could do it but would feel bad because they would have to charge $500.

Project 1. I got bids from another vendor. The other vendor proposed wood that would be subject to future rot. Handyman Express proposed a material that will not decay in the future. A much better solution. Handyman Express did the work well and on time. Project 2. Sheet rock installed. Framed around new electrical work so that it looked appropriate. Work was done well and on time.

We have used them at least twice. The first time the boss came and did the work and he was terrific. The second time some other fellow came and did work on a window for us. They were good.

He was punctual and he made the job very easy. There were no problems and everyone was courteous and the bathroom looks great

The Handyman Express employees are very professional individuals with long experience in construction and contracting. They are also extremely very nice and decent people. One of the great advantages of using them is that for relatively small projects, they do everything. You do not have to call separate people for plumbing, electrical work, dry wall, and painting. The two larger projects we undertook, opening up a wall in a kitchen and installing an air conditioner and replacing leaking outgoing plumbing in a ceiling both turned out to be tricky once the walls and ceiling were opened up because of idiosyncracies (and unexpected code violations) introduced by the previous owner, a general contractor who gutted the house and replaced everything but outgoing plumbing. Handyman Express worked though all the difficulties.

He honored estimates for each project--we never were surprised by the end prices. Particularly complicated was the rerouting of the heating vent for the bedroom door closet project, but he consulted some of his contacts and came up with a very workable solution that, in fact, we liked better than the original vent layout. Everything he did was done fine and has stayed in good condition. He is personable, mature, and communicates well and talks ideas and procedures through with us, respects our property when working here, and always cleans up well after his work. We trust him to be in our home.The only minor downside was waiting for him to be available sometimes, but since we weren't in a rush and the projects were elective, not critical or emergencies, we were willing to wait without complaint because he felt his quality was good and good value. Once he starts a project, however, he committed to it and sees it through in an efficient, timely, and thorough manner as promised.

We liked them a lot and they were very punctual. They also removed some dirt from my gutter at the same price so I was happy with that and will use them again in the future.

The service wen't well as I had expected. They were ontime and efficient. They are reliable. They get the job done right. If you are not happy with something they will fix it. This is the 3rd in a year I have used them.
