John totally remodeled our bedroom bath and retiled the hall bathroom. He is very rellable and always on time. He starts at 7 am and works non-stop for 6-8 hours, no breaks. He tells you what he will accomplish in a day and stays with the plan. He completed the bathrooms in 5 days and his work is excellent. He is prepared, offers suggestions as he goes along, and has great insights in executing your wishes. He is respectful of your property and home and cleans up every day after himself. Most of all, he is pleasant to work with, enjoys his wcrk and does it well! He came over twice to answer questions before the project and after it was done to solve a minor problem. He is one of the best contractors I've hired in the last 30 years, I highly recommend him.

We hired JRB & Son to renovate a bathroom that had issues. We also had a vision to add a second bathroom in the space that would require a work-around. John not only came in and listened, but he helped us through with our goal and further developed that vision of a second bathroom. All through the process John guided us every step of the way. He was always responsive to questions and texts. He was onsite with his assistant every day, and they HUSTLED to get the job done. In all the work we have ever done, this was the most painless; John did not try to oversell and he kept with his timeline. We absolutely LOVE our two bathrooms. Thank you!!!

John quoted us a good price and offered some excellent ideas in renovating and remodeling our bathroom. He is competent and creative. The whole job was done in the five days he promised. He and Ed, his assistant, arrived on time every single day, which began with John stating his goal for the day, and lying down tarps to keep the house clean. Upon leaving later in the day, the house was immaculate. I've never seen a contractor that was that conscientious of working in somebody's home. The whole job, as I stated, was done on time and within the quoted price. Only after finishing the project to our satisfaction did John accept payment--the only contractor I know that does that! John B is a pro. I enthusiastically recommend him for your project.

Great guy and covers all aspects of a bathroom remodel. From design input, to cost saving suggestions to in process adjustment, John is the man. Fully committed, starts on time, works one job at a time and does great work and is a pleasure to deal with. Oh and reasonable! Thanks John we love how it came out.

John was very personable and knowledgeable. He did a fantastic job on my bathroom tile work. He also helped me in the design. Great attention to detail. He was neat while working and everything was cleaned up at the end of the job. The whole job was done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended and would hire him again.

Great work, great price, great experience. We got 4 estimates, 3 were waaaaay out of budget, Johnâ s was right where we needed it to be. John is the ONLY contractor that responded right away with helpful communication throughout, he was on time and kept his word from first conversation until even after the project as we wait for our shower glass! He took our drawings and ideas and made our dream home a reality- moved walls, plumbing, electrical AND did absolutely beautiful tile work, we couldnâ t be happier. He makes it easy, helps with decisions that make your bathroom usable while paying close attention to your vision. John is a great contractor. Does good work very clean and thorough. The result is fantastic.

The work exceeded expectations. John was professional and left the house as clean as it was when they arrived. He even came back to help us install a shower door that had to be replaced by the mfg due to a defect. Iâ ve already recommended him to family and friends.

John was always on time and would communicate where he is at in the project and would even recommend things that he has done in the past for others. (Heated Floors, Extra Lights) Which he did not add costs to add these things, but he also did not take off costs for work he did not complete from the original quote. The tile work was OK compared to other work I have seen or had performed in the past. It looked nice, but attention to detail and all laid even was not accomplished. (It was all level, not even from tile to tile) I should have managed the project more than I did, but felt when hiring John that he had it all under control. The bathroom was to be Paint Ready, which still needed a lot of sanding and spackle work before could paint. John did lack and rate below average with cleaning. The grout residue was not fully washed off when the job was complete and money was collected. The front porch, where they cut baseboard and mixed products, was also left undesirable. Looked like they emptied buckets of stuff in the bushes and by the street. (looked like cement) I did call John after the job and discuss my feelings, he said he would come back out and fix issues, but I felt he was not apologetic and annoyed with my feedback. He also did not respond to my emails when I needed info for the insurance company to close out my claim. I was only looking for him to document what he did and the charges based on his original quote that I passed onto insurance. I also asked that my pictures not be used to showcase his work and are still posted when writing this. Overall, John will get the job done, which to me, was just average.

The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great!"

I had an unfinished bathroom in my loft that I wanted to finally complete. I came across Johns company and met with him. Right from the start he was very professional and we spoke about some ideas to finish the bath. He was extremely knowledgeable and even gave me a shopping list with quantities to purchase for the job. Once we had all of our material the job started. He took care of everything from that point and within 4 days we had an amazing shower bath. John has a great work ethic and is very meticulous about his work. He came in everyday with a helper and protected all of the floors and stairs. He cleans up after his work everyday and shows up when he says. I have and will continue recommend JRB to anyone looking for a bathroom remodel. Most importantly, my wife was beyond happy with the work. I also recommend getting a new exhaust fan with the blue tooth speaker in it (worth it). I will be calling John for my master bathroom remodel in a few months.

Bathroom remodel is beautiful. John is a perfectionist. He shows up bright and early. Never late. Responded to my texts and emails within minutes. Aside from his perfectionism, he is immaculately clean. Leaves everything the way he found it at the end of every work day. We felt so comfortable with him working in our home.

I had four estimates on the remodel and John came in with the most reasonable estimate. He was responsive, professional, and communicated on a regular basis. His follow up was impeccable. He installed two new windows as if they were always there, built a brand new bathroom, remodeled an existing bathroom, installed a brand new closet, and replaced and installed 7 doors in less than 3 weeks! He tiled both bathroom floors and tub and shower areas, installed vanities, mirrors, tub, shower, pedestal sink, and two new toilet bowls. John is a craftsman and very attentive to all details. He took no money upfront for the job and did not ask for any progress payments during the project. He told me that he wouldnâ t accept any payment until I was 100% satisfied with the work completed and boy am I satisfied. I am happy to recommend John and his team. They were neat, clean, and completed all the work faster than my expectations. Both bathrooms are now beautiful, thanks to John and his team. I found John through Homeadvisor. He came within a day or two to have a look and give a quote. Once all materials were purchased, we quickly scheduled a time for the work to take place. John and his assistant worked efficiently and carefully, keeping me regularly appraised of progress and if things were on schedule. Did a great job. The bathroom looks fantastic and I am very happy with the work done. In the run up to the remodel, John was very responsive and helpful with questions on specific materials. He also was quick to respond to one or two questions once the work was done. Compared to other quotes I got, John came it at almost half the price. Strongly recommend!

John and his son were diligent, hard working and good to their word. They were incredibly pleasant, told us the job would be done in 4-5 working days and completed the work on time and as promised with no break, start to finish. After my 1st meeting with John I knew that I would choose him for my bathroom reno. He responds quickly, shows up when promised..(on time) and immediately understood my vision. Instead of telling me how difficult the job would be....he assured me he could handle it all!! He emailed me a drawing the next day and explained the process. I would pick out and pay for my tile, fixtures, vanity, counters (with guidance from him) and he would quote a labor charge. Since I was gutting a small bathroom and knocking down a wall to combine it with an adjoining office the job entailed moving plumbing, waste lines, electric, ac venting and windows. He installed a tiled 4 x 6 walk in shower, new toilet, new ceramic plank tile flooring and 60" double vanity, relocated 1 window, added a new window, shower door, reinstalled all siding. John and Jack handled it all!! John is an upbeat ....can do anything....attention to detail... kind of guy....which I totally appreciated! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a bathroom reno that wants to work with a true pro!!!

John did a wonderful job, The tile work is beautiful. From the first time we meet until the day he was done he was always on time, never left a mess and worked very hard. He is a very polite gentleman who will help you with any questions you might have. The next time I need tile and flooring done he will be the one I call.

I hired JRB &Son to install porcelain tile in my foyer. John was great! I was struggling with how to place the tile, So he helped me figure out a design, installation was quick and professional. My floor came out beautiful. I would recommend him to anyone I know.
