A1 Roofing

A1 is Aok! They were professional, efficient and I thought the price was fair. The job looks good as new. I had subsequently seen a week later that the pole on my porch had shifted off - thinking they may have done it inadvertently. They sent someone out immediately to assess the problem. While it had not been the fault of the company, they still went ahead and fixed it for me. Felt great to not be treated nicely! Thank you Maria and your team at A1 ! Will recommend you without hesitation !

They were very good. They referred me to a better guy. They don't do the gutters themselves. They give it out but the guys who did the gutters were excellent and the guys from A1 were good too.

Everything went according to plan. I felt the price was very reasonable for the amount of work they were doing. They were very accommodating to schedule the work on a Friday (which I requested). The work took the entire day and they had several men working on the job. I requested pictures of the work after the job was complete and they followed up very quickly with those pictures. There were no additional costs that weren't represented to me in the proposal. I had to leave before they were finished with the job, but they didn't need to work inside the house. Very trustworthy as I had no issues when I came home. We've had some torrential rain since and so far no leaks!

Job well done, crew efficient and responsible, the job was big but they cleaned up well. During installation some cables outside the house and a light fixture were slightly damaged but they took care of the repair cost. Their contact person Kevin was always responsive and helpful. Price was fair for good quality work. Would recommend.

They were fabulous! Did the job expeditiously and were so nice doing it. I have no more leaks from the roof into my house so the job was done perfectly. Great experience.

Wonderfully. They were professional when I made the appointment. They came when they said they would come. The gentleman spent time on the roof inspecting it thoroughly. Reviewed his findings with me and answered all my questions. He gave me a date and time for the repair and arrived exactly on time. The repair was perfect. The icing on the cake was he gave me the best price $597 vs. $750 and $900.

A-1 roofing was very responsive and gave us a very reasonable quote. I love how they were available immediately. Even though it was a small job, they didn't make me wait for weeks like other companies did. Would definitely hire them again in the future!

It went well. They showed up on time. They came with their own truck so there was no dumpster in the yard. They replaced all the rotted wood from the front porch. They replaced the shingle with a flat roof. Very happy with them.

Always accessible, always providing answers and solutions, Tony is a person who goes the extra mile for his clients. His team did great, conscientious work. They took the time to clean up a considerable mess created by the large window removal. The work was what I expected from an excellent company like A-1. Highly recommend and would use them again.

I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to do business with A1 Roofing and Siding of LI Corp. Everyone in the main office was professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. Vincent arrived, on time, to give me an estimate, and discussed with me at length, all of the options that were available. He was knowledgable in his recommendations and provided me with their insurance certificates and a list of customers and phone numbers I could call for referrals. I knew, right then and there, that this was a first class operation. Everything was written up in a very explicit manner regarding what was included in the price. The crew of twelve arrived at exactly 7:30, and had the entire job done, with an immaculate cleanup, by 2:45 or so. Everyone was organized and worked efficiently the entire time they were here, to beat the oncoming rain. The foreman addressed all of my concerns with regard to Gutter Helmet removal, skylights, and a possible drainage issue. The roof itself looks absolutely perfect and is truly beautiful. The next day I called the office about a problem with closing one of the skylights, and an incredibly smart person was sent, within the hour, to troubleshoot the issue. I couldn't believe it!! It turned out that I only needed to shut off the power to reboot the skylight motor. It was a simple fix, but one I never would have thought of on my own. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof. I feel as though I got excellent value for the money I spent!! I took the 0% finance option and will have my roof paid off in two years. The estimate was accurate, and I was NOT nickel and dimed to death with add ons like rotted plywood and crumbling fascia board. I felt they used an abundance of quality materials to be sure they would last for a lifetime, as per the contract. There was a 12 year guarantee on labor. I had gotten an estimate of 20,000 dollars, for the same guarantee, from the guys walking around harassing customers at Wal-mart and BJ's. I'm one very happy customer!!!

It was a pleasure to work with A1. Looking at the prospect of replacing a roof can be intimidating at best, but with A1 my mind was put at ease. The other roofing companies I looked at all eyeballed the roof from the ground or used google earth to view it. Before I got a quote, Michael from A1 got up on the roof and gave it thorough inspection which I was impressed with. When it came time for the installation, the crew arrived at the time I was told they would and got going right away. They also finished up pretty much at the time I was told they would be done. The crew was neat and careful around my yard and the yard was spotless after they left. They even put my grill cover back on my grill when they moved it back into place - the grill was uncovered when they moved it out of the way as I had used it the previous night. The new roof looks great. The gutters and leaders were installed the following business day and those look great as well. After everything was done, John from A1 stopped by to make sure I was happy. He quickly addressed a minor issue where the rain sensor for my sprinkler system accidentally got discarded when the old gutters were being removed. Overall I am very happy and would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

My experience with this company was a joy start to finish. I called them to get an estimate for a roof leak. I had been dreading this repair for a while but it had to be done. They sent someone to my house the same day. The estimator was very professional, answered all of my questions, and left me with a written quote. After reading the reviews on Angie's list, and after meeting with the estimator I decided that if anyone was going to open up the roof on my porch room and replace it, I wanted to deal with A1. Within days of the estimate I signed a contract with them and within a week of signing the contract, the work was scheduled and completed. I wasn't home when the crew was there but when I inspected the job later that day, save for the fact that the roof looked perfect, I would never know that anyone had been on my property. There was no so much as a flower out of place (and I am sort of particular about these things.) They did the work on a Friday, and the office was closed when I got home so I had to wait until Monday to pay them. I told Maria, the receptionist how happy I was with the roof but that the pitch of the gutter was a little too severe. Instead of taking payment, she sent a crew back to my house that Wednesday to move the gutter more to my liking. (mind you they had not taken a penny from me yet for the work.) After I made payment I received an invoice via email showing that the job had been paid in full. I always get a sick feeling every time I have to hire someone to work on my property but dealing with A1 was an absolute joy! I highly recommend them and I am so happy with the work they did for me. Someday when my whole roof needs replacing I know who I will be calling - A1. Thank you so much!

They are a great contractor. They arrived on time and prepared. I reviewed the entire job with the foreman before they started and expressed all my requests and asked questions and he responded with courtesy and was totally accommodating. They completely protected my home and lawn with tarps and plywood and continuously cleaned up as the job progressed. I am in the trades so I was fully aware of how the job was supposed to be done and spent the entire time observing them work and they did the install perfect. They cut no corners and I really felt that they were treating my home as if it were their own. The end result was a beautiful new roof installation and an immaculate cleanup. They even leaf blew the driveway. I didn't just hire them out of the phone book either. I carefully whittled down a list of contractors and checked all of their backgrounds then received five estimates and no one else compared to their reputation. They were also the most informed contractor when it came to the actual job. I fully recommend them for a new roof installation and would use them again.

It takes a lot for a contractor to impress me, but A-1 Roofing and Siding really did impress me. Absolutely everyone I dealt with was polite and professional. After a couple of rain delays the crew came on a Sunday to get the job done. I watched from across the street and could see everyone knew what they were doing and the job got done faster that I thought possible. The clean up was the best I've seen. All the old shingle materal was picked up even stuff I thought they would overlook in the shrubs was gone. I didn't find any nails in the driveway, maybe two in the garden, but that was it. As it turned out that there was a problem with the skylights, but John went out of his way to have it taken care of and the whole job was completed to my satisfaction. I feel fortunate to have had A-1 take this project. I don't think I would have gotten this level of service from another contractor.

A-1 did a great job on replacing the soffit, fascia and gutters on my home. There was a lot of damage from little critter and they did a nice, clean and professional job. Would definitely recommend them. Although it cost more than I was expecting, the company did a great job and you have to pay for quality. They were professional, courteous and always available when we had an issue. The guys forgot to do one thing and the owner sent a crew out a few days later to fix it. Would definitely recommend them!

We were very pleased and we will use and recommend John and his company, again. We want to send our thanks to Maria, office assistant, for her professionalism, responsiveness to our questions/concerns, and follow-up.

The came early in the morning and they started to strip the old roof. We went to work and around 4 pm they called med that the work was done. They cleaned all the area.

Never happened, they cancelled twice the day before each time, so they are unreliable. And we have since fixed the problem at a much lower price.
