Michael Pagnotta and his team took down the old rotten porches and started from scratch. They listened to exactly what we wanted and they delivered it. We had vinyl railing put on put the all new footings and wood flooring. We added solar caps to the railings. They put up new cross coverings to the bottom and they blended in the whole roof line where there existed a top porch roof that we did not add to the new work done. Mike and his team did a beautiful job and gave us exactly what we asked for. We were really pleased with the job done.
Description of Work: We needed 2 entire porches on the front of house completely taken down and replaced before they were condemned.

I almost canceled after noticing the contract contained different terms than agreed - "tile to be supplied by owner." Everything started well. However, as work progressed I had more and more small items broken - all stepped on, kicked, or knocked over by Mike. He removed a floor heat vent cover and, within 5 minutes, he had stepped in the resulting hole!!! knocking the duct work in the basement off. Next came a problem with the tile in the laundry room. This tile was placed so it ran off about 10 degrees from the kitchen tile. It all had to be torn up and re-done. The work was completed adequately but Mike and his partner, another Mike, seemed to be in a rush at the end (perhaps they had another job to start). The range had been pushed in place by the plumber and was not level or sitting on the counter top properly and was out about 3/4 inch from where it should be. The dishwasher, also placed by the plumber, was not up high enough to counter top. This plumber was WKAAC's sub-contractor and they were responsible for his work as well. Mike and Mike could not get the range in place. I came into the kitchen to see Mike on the floor, just getting up. Several days later I noticed the range door was dented. Mike unscrewed the dishwasher and raised the front, claiming that was all that was necessary. After they left, I tried the dishwasher and found it was no longer level. Neither of these problems was ever remedied by WKAAC. The plumbing work left low water pressure in the kitchen.
Description of Work: Remove kitchen cabinets, tear down walls, frame dividing and perpendicular walls for new bath and laundry room, remove existing kitchen floor, drop ceiling to ~8 ft, sheetrock, relocate washer/dryer, tile floors, install plumbing and fixtures for full bath.

Response from WE KNOW ALL ABOUT CONSTRUCTION CORP
It seems like this particular customer does not inform the Angie’s List consumer All the Details pertaining to this contracting job. The house was built in 1939 and the surrounding materials in this home have been collected since that time. The contractors were unable to move around the house because of everything that has been accumulated in the household. It was an episode of the TV program Hoarders. Regrettably this customer did not inform the contractors of any broken items. Also, it is unfortunate that this particular customer posts his comments on this site as opposed to approaching the contractors directly. In the Q & A this customer states that the quality of the work was what he liked most.
