+ -1 moreWhile I have to give Larry credit for responsiveness, his charges are outrageous. This was an emergency so I grabbed the first business card I had. He was very prompt and adaptable to the situation and certainly got the job done efficiently and I expected to pay a labor premium for the emergency service on a weekend. However, there is a premium and then there is a premium. He basically charged 4 times the cost of my last water heater replacement 6 months ago. He basically doubled the cost for the water heater itself and then charged $900 for rental of drying equipment. This is clearly a case of price gouging and I would highly recommend finding anyone else for your plumbing needs if at all possible.

Description of Work: Hired to unclog main drain.Due to careless use of snake, he made hole in pipe causing significant leak needing 3 days of drying machines for which he wanted to charge us almost $1000

Description of Work: Our sewer pipe backed up on us, discovered it on a Sunday morning. Called Main Drain mostly by chance. They came over quite promptly, cleared out the blockage, and for an extra $75 cleaned up the spill with disinfectants. Very happy with how quickly they came and took care of the problem. Ih hindsight, probably did not need the cleaning which consisted mostly of swabbing down the basement floor.

+ -1 moreHe was responsive and efficient. I think he was on the high end of cost. I got a lower estimate from a few other people. He did the job, but I thought he was a little on the high side. I may use him in the future, but I may try to find someone less expensive.
