Wilmar Painting

Wilmar and his team did exactly what they said they would, and kept me informed as to their schedule. They were thorough and did a great job. The house looks wonderful.

Wilmar and his team are incredibly professional. They have seen and done it all so any painting and repair was properly assessed and put into the proposal. During the various jobs his team was always very punctual, polite and respectful of our privacy and out neighbors. They also cleaned up at the end of every day. Professional contractors and decorators have commented on how good the paint and stain looks. Finally, we put our jobs out to bid several times and Wilmar was always very fair and always delivered the best product.

Wilmar and his team were excellent. They were on our job site immediately upon being hired and worked diligently and professionally 6 days a week for 4-5 months. I would give them the highest recommendation and would also hire them again!

Wilmar and his crew were very professional and prompt. They made sure at all times that my floors and furniture were covered and protected from any debris or paint. I would definitely being using their services if ever needed again.

Wilmar and his crew, expended a lot of time preparing the walls on my house, he plaster some of the walls which needed to be repaired, he expended a great deal of time sanding the wood work, wilmar and his crew made sure all floors and furniture were protected at all times. They were very neat and clean while performing the work. Wilmar remove the existing wall paper from Master bedroom, he replaced some wood trim and molding. He also installed drywall to cover the hotels from previous AC units, he painted the room then installed new wall paper in the room.

He and his crew worked very diligent while working in the apartment, and not only doing the job, but also making sure the place was clean and neat at the end of each day of work. He is truly committed in doing an excellent job and the price was reasonably for the kind of job he realizes, and I would say I got more benefits for the price I paid for it. I was totally satisfied by the overall experience. He and his crew are honest and respectful people. I would highly hire and recommend him.

Superb! The house had not been painted in at least 15 years. There was weather damage to soffits, window trim and, generally, lots of cracks that needed to be sealed. Wilmar and his team did a completely thorough preparation before applying any paint including a careful powerwash of the house. Then, his finish work was very detailed. In fact, Wilmar always does more than we could expect. For example, he removed all the shutters and the shutter hardware, painted the shutter hardware and the shutters and reinstalled the hardware on the window frames. Our house is nearly 100 years old and we were considering replacing the shutters because they looked so bad but Wilmar made them look new!

It's difficult to express how superior the performance of Wilmar and his crew is. They are meticulously neat in their set-up and site management -- always laid down drop cloths from front door to work area, and stored all of their work materials in an organized pile covered by a drop cloth at the end of the day -- and, if possible, even neater and more meticulous in their painting work. Every tiny dent or scratch in woodwork is filled and sanded smooth, the paint is laid on beautifully smoothly, and the cut-ins (where colors meet) are impossibly straight. Wilmar's work approaches what is possible in on-site painting -- almost the quality of work done in the controlled environment of a factory cabinet shop. His workers are friendly, accommodating and polite. They're also quite willing to move the homeowner's furniture and materials around as needed. A pleasure to have visiting the house. Wilmar is likely the best painter you will ever use. His prices are in the higher range, but you will get more than you paid for.

Wilmar has worked with us since we moved to Larchmont in 1995. This is probably the forth time we have completely painted the interior of the house. Wilmar has also painted the exterior of the home twice. His work is fabulous and his team is great. There is nothing they won't do. Wilmar provides a detailed quote and sticks to it. In addition to painting, he and his team have helped with power washing, plaster work, and tiling. He and his team care about their craft and it show in the work the perform and the final product.

Wilmar and his team are very kind and professional. They pay great attention to detail and do work on many of the historic homes in our neighborhood. I recommend them highly for the quality of the work and for completing the very big job in the time frame promised.
