We used the best rated local painters from Angie's List to prepare estimates for the job. We have been in the house for 14 years and never had it painted. The house was built in 1932. The old cedar siding was peeling and in terrible shape from multiple coats of paint. Painters cautioned about the possibility of lead and we reviewed the three estimates. Palette Pro had the middle estimate, but included photos and such specific details along with their EPA certification, we really wanted to go with them. I called and asked if they could come closer to the competition and they obliged, but warned that if there was lead they would have to bring the price up closer to estimate. We accepted that as the other estimate did not allow for the lead abatement. I am so glad we went with Palette Pro. The house tested positive for lead (not surprised) and the team led by "Silas" worked by hand with plastic suits in the terrible heat to remove the paint. We had to keep our windows closed during the scraping and the team showed concern for our health and property by reminding us to close windows, and arrange for access before starting work each day. Once the surface was stripped, everything was vacuumed through their hepa filters and the vacuum was even brought into the house to get the windows from the inside. A special primer was applied to incapsulate any remaining lead paint on the shingles. A carpenter was brought in to make a few repairs and some of our shutters had to be replaced, and were ordered. The men who did the work were wonderful! We were dreading the expense and never imagined that the transformation could be so rewarding! We grew fond of the three men who were taking such good care of our house in the extreme heat of the summer. I can not say enough about the service of Palette Pro. Our house looks beautiful and we feel so secure that we no longer have to be concerned about lead contaminating our property.

Wonderfully! They were prompt, reasonable, easy to be around. The skill was very good. I installed a new chopping block counter top in the kitchen. That required superb skill to install properly and cut rounded corners. Great! The painting went very well and they cleaned up after. They have come for me three times and I will hire them again.

bought a deal for $799 and selected 3 proposed times for the job to be done but never heard from them. another week passed, i emailed and no response.

They did a good job. I wish they asked us before closing the ceiling weather we wanted insulation which we did but i forgot to ask. We used to have insulation prior to the repair work. All in all they did a good job but the insulation is a big thing for us and we would have liked it but too late to do something now.

We first contacted the provider about a year before contracting for the work. The proposal we received, based on photos of the kitchen, was the most comprehensive and detailed of the three proposals we received. Once we decided to move forward with the work, Rafael visited our home to confirm the scope of the work and the price. (Financing options are available.) He and Valerie, who works in the office, were extremely responsive, helpful and flexible throughout the process. Given the scope of the work and that we have young children and a cat, Rafael agreed to do the work while we were out of town. Rafael and Valerie responded immediately the few times we checked in for an update on progress while we were away. When we returned home, the project was nearly complete and the kitchen was tidy, considering work was still ongoing. The work took about a week from start to finish. We are very happy with the final product. You'd never know our now white cabinets used to be a cherry-colored wood!

Rodrigo and his crew were wonderful. We bought a house built in 1920, and it needed a bit of love. We hired Pallet Pro to give our home it's next life, and they patched and scrapped our plaster walls, fixed a cracked ceiling, and made our space look contemporary. I was hesitant going with the dark walnut stain on my floors, and they convinced me to go with the color, and I am so happy they did. Makes our home look like the homes we see in the design mags. We know we have a quality home, which has been cared for throughout the years, and we needed to hire a team that would continue this tradition and we got just that with Pallet Pro.

Rafael was very thorough and fair, a true professional! He was patient with our many questions and in frequent touch to inform us of the progress of the project. He stopped by daily to oversee the work. His team was pleasant, courteous and very neat. I would definitely recommend Palette Pro to others!

This company was such a pleasure to work with. They are easy to get in touch with and very responsive. They have a lovely receptionist who tends to respond to emails within minutes, if not seconds. It's easy to get on their schedule and they followed through, showing up on the exact day and at the exact time promised. Other contractors often take forever to call back and then just show up whenever they feel like it. It was such an unusual experience dealing with a company that is run so efficiently. I kept waiting for them to disappear for days on end without calling because that's the MO of most other contractors I've dealt with but that never happened. The quality of their work is unparalleled. They were maybe a bit more expensive than some others but it was totally worth it because the kitchen they left me is literally perfect. The painters who came to work on my project were so excellent, detail-oriented and proud of their craft. Plus they were extremely nice and did not leave so much as a dusty footprint behind. I will absolutely hire this company again and only wish other companies were so well run.

It went pretty well. On time and professional. Happy with the work overall. I purchased a deal through Angie's List, but not sure if I recommend this method in general. In this instance, the painting time I purchased didn't cover as much work as I thought, and I feel I was nickeled and dimed over the length of time it took to complete the job. I recommend getting a quote for the entire job before proceeding and not pre-paying, because a deal isn't really a deal when the final invoice comes. That way you know exactly what you're getting for the price and there's no ambiguity.

The crew was clean, courteous and prompt. Very professional job. The estimate was competitive and worth every penny. I've used a few painters in the area and none stack up to these guys.

Overall we were very pleased. We had a slight issue, but the owner was extremely professional and was very helpful. The painters were clean and very professional as well.

Everything went great and it was fine. They didn't do everything that we talked about, but they looked around for any other wood rot. The job wasn't completed because, it wasn't in the contract. I think there was two.

Palette Pro was responsive, punctual and professional. They came out to look at the work that needed to be done, send me estimates via email in a timely manner and once the contract was signed, they came out to do the work. They did an excellent job....the replacement of the rotted wood and the paint job were seamless....one can hardly tell there had been patchwork done in those areas. Cleanup afterwards was excellent as well. The men were polite and concerned about doing a good job.

I got three different quotes for this work and they were all roughly in the same ballpark but Valerie and Rodrigo made this a very simple decision. They are both unbelievably professional and genuinely nice, warm people. Rodrigo recommended an approach to tackling the wood planks that was different from the other two companies and it made a lot more sense and would ensure longevity of the work. Scheduling was seamless and the crew showed up on time everyday, if not early. The crew went to great lengths to protect my newly refinished floors and even more importantly, when the work was complete, it didn't look like anyone had been in the house. It was spotless wherever they worked. The quality of the work was impeccable and exceeded my expectations for such a tedious job. When another contractor carelessly stained some of the walls Palette Pro painted for me, Rodrigo sent a crew back to fix it for me, free of charge. I was so unbelievably appreciative of his kindness. That kind of care for customers is not something you see very often these days. I would highly recommend Palette Pro and will absolutely use them again in the future. They are consummate professionals from start to finish!

Rafael inspected the soffits and advised me about pros and cons of different materials that could be used for the repairs so I could make an informed decision about the best way to go. As the work began it wasn't sure what would be found once the degraded outside wood was removed. I was kept informed of the time and cost of the needed additional work. Jackson and Adrian, the carpenters, set up their tools neatly placing them on drop cloths to keep the lawn clean. Their work was excellent and finished work looks great. Clean up was complete. From Valerie who answered my calls to Rafael, Jackson and Adrian, everyone was professional and courteous. As we continue the updating of our home, I am sure we will be using Pallette Pro again.

They were also very well priced relative to the other providers I contacted. I've already asked them to do another project.
