Excellent Job! J&S Painting Plus Incorporated and his crew painted the exterior of our house. They did an amazing job! The business owner, office staff, and painters are professional, courteous, and friendly. The painters arrived every day at the same time and were very apologetic if the weather was not acceptable for them to paint on any given day. They also would keep us informed of the project status. We were very happy and satisfied with the service provided. We definitely will use them again. We highly recommend them for any painting job.

We highly recommend J&S Painting Plus! They recently painted the exterior of our home and it was a great experience from start to finish. Luis and his painting crew did high-quality work and were very professional, reliable, and friendly - and even finished ahead of schedule. Jay the owner was extremely communicative, providing us with an extensive packet of information and customer reviews, a very fair price quote, and regular check-ins during the course of the job. The team also did a great job of refinishing our old fence, and was very open to other requests along the way. Kathie and Pam in the office were very helpful and responsive as well. We have already recommended J&S to our neighbors, and will welcome them back when it’s time to paint our interior!

J&S did an incredible job both on my hardwood floor refinishing and interior painting throughout my home. The floors required a few panels to be replaced and they fit it in seamlessly. I was so happy with the work they did on both projects, and the customer service was incredible. Jay, the owner, was fully involved throughout the entire process, and he and his office managers were quick, responsive, and incredibly kind and pleasant to work with. I would recommend J&S without question! Very appreciative that my realtor recommended them to me!

The painters were careful, responsive, polite, arrived on time, always put in a full day’s work, worked neatly, always cleaned up each evening. The work that was completed was just as described in the contract. Emails, texts, and phone calls were responded to immediately. Sheki stooped by each day to review the progress and answer any questions. Some carpentry repairs had to be done and the work was done exceptionally well.Prep work, painting and final clean up was done with great attention to detail. We are very pleased with the results and the overall experience.

Sheki and his team were prompt, professional and very accommodating. Picking paints is tough, especially for something you are only doing once in a long while, but they were both patient and understanding of my indecisiveness. Sheki and his team were incredible. Despite pockets of rain and cool weather, his team made use of every possible weather-opportune moment to paint our home. It used to be beige (the house, the windows, the trim... all shades of beige). The house had been added on to over the years so it no longer has a defined "style", so we've been leaning in to the "modern farmhouse" look and Sheki's team painted our home white with black window trim and it looks incredible! We smile every time we come home and see it from the outside!

J&S painting painted the entire first floor of our house - almost 2000 square feet. They also put up some new walls and doors before painting. I have nothing but great things to say about J&S. Sheki, the owner, was tremendously prompt and fair. He came for an estimate within 24 hours of first contact. He provided a quote within 1 hour of leaving my house. And his men were ready to begin working the next week. The price was fair. He came to the house every day to make sure things were going smoothly and to make sure that we were happy. A pleasure to deal with. Edgar, Carlos, and Edgar did great work. They paid attention to details, were careful, and made everything look great. They were on time every day and worked efficiently. They were orderly in moving from room to room so that we could keep using as much of the house as possible during the work, they left everything spotless, and they took great care with all of our possessions. They were responsive to any small issues or changes that we had. They were very diligent about wearing masks. Great guys. We strongly recommend J&S.

Superb. Highly recommend working with Jay and his team. They are professional, detail oriented, efficient and straightforward. I'll definitely be bringing them back for any future painting projects we have. They completed a big project for us well under the estimated timeline and exactly on budget. The project involved removing a ton of wallpaper, removing wall-to-wall mirrors that had been glued to the walls decades ago, painting ~2,500 square feet of interior house, painting our front door, and wallpapering a couple rooms. All in all, it took 6 days, which was faster than I expected (the original quote was for 1.5-2 weeks). We had a couple changes along the way, and Jay and his team were super flexible and accommodating with us. Josue was our crew leader, and we were incredibly impressed by him-- he painted our interior windows meticulously by hand and ensured no detail went unnoticed. We appreciated the military discount too!

We chose J & S Painting Plus, Inc. for four reasons: Jay got back to me immediately. He had a quiet, positive can-do demeanor. He made us feel completely comfortable; our gut told us this is a trustworthy gentleman. On the first day of the job, he arrived with this team. He introduced us to his workers and explained that the job would take 5 days to complete painting our kitchen cabinets. At the end of the day, he returned to see the progress. On the third day, Jay came back to see the wonderful progress. On the last day, he came again to do a walk-through with me. Truly amazing! His guys were very professional. Always arrived on time. Really great guys. I might add, they arrived in miserable snowy weather ON TIME. They worked non-stop each day, quietly, listening quietly to some great music. We did a walk-through each day and they addressed every single one of my concerns. J & S Painting Plus, Inc pricing was the most expensive of all the estimates we received, but it was worth it. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure working with Sheki and Pam. From the moment we reached out, they were both incredibly responsive. Sheki first came to the house to conduct an initial consult. He was right on time and was incredibly helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. He talked us though our options and listened to exactly what we envisioned. We received a quote shortly after the consult and as soon as we were ready to start the job, we immediately received the contract and a start time of the very next day! Sheki and his team arrived right on time and were incredibly efficient. They brought all of the paint and equipment and covered our furniture in plastic and moved it all to the center of the room. The walls in the rooms we had painted required a tremendous amount of prep work and both the prep and the painting was immaculate. We are incredibly pleased with the work done. To prep and paint 3 large rooms only took 2 days and Sheki came both days to check in and make sure everything was running smoothly. Sheki and his team wore masks the entire time and the left our home cleaner than when they started! We did not find a speck of dust after the job was finished and they vacuumed our carpet so it looks brand new (better than when they started!). It was a wonderful experience working with J and S Painting Plus. We already recommended them to our friends and family! Thank you Sheki, Pam and team!

Exceptionally well. They are a wonderful company. Very professionale, clean, etc.. the list goes on. I would hire them again and also recommend them to anyone I know who needs painting done. Jay is a doll. I am sorry I cannot post any photos at this time. I am in the process of redoing my kitchen the house is a mess. But the paint job looks amazing.

My existing garage/barn needed repainting. I called Jay and his secretary made an appointment for Jay to come over to look at what I wanted done. I wanted the body of the garage stained a darker color than it was originally, and I wanted all the white trim, garage doors, and windows, painted the same dark green. Jay sent me a proposal within a day or so of meeting, a very good price, and I accepted. I worked with Jay to get the exact color green I needed and his crew started work soon thereafter. The crew was exceptional. Very detail oriented. Very thorough. Very professional. I am incredibly pleased with how the repainting turned out. I would highly recommend J&S Painting Plus. 5Stars.

Working with Jay and the team from J&S was a very positive experience. He was always very quick to respond and is an all around good guy. The team is full of hard workers and they did a great job on everything. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Highly recommended.

TERRIBLE!!. Worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. This company should not be on Angies List. My house was peeling and needed to be completely stripped and painted. I had many quotes and decided to go with this company because their scam salesman (Sheki) told me everything they were goin to do so I decided to go with them since he said they could start within the next week. They were not the least expensive quote I got either. The job was $12,000.00 so I expect it to be done correctly. Sheki the scam artist told me it would be done in two weeks. This **** went for over a month! They were shut done by the DEP for not stripping the house the proper way and had to stop operation for 3 days. The company did not have the proper licenses or paperwork to do the paint job which contained lead. I was away when this was happening and when I returned my entire house was filled with dust which I had to buy air purifiers just to stay in the house. I asked Sheki if he ever stripped and painted a house with lead (since he stated he has 30 years experience) and he said NO , BS. He was arguing with me and was threatening me and one point stating "I'm not afraid of you" what the **** does that mean? This guy is crazy. He got the proper papers from somewhere, probably another painter who had them. I had to be home everyday to watch what they were doing because they tried to cut corners everywhere they could. They were suppose to power wash the house with a bleach mixture which was never done. They just used water. The piece of garbage Sheki stated my house didn't need it because of the sanding. Then they primed the house. Primer everywhere. Paint all over my front walkway , front step, rear step and a garage door which had just been installed a week before. They had three tarps which they moved around that didn't do anything. All the bushes around the house are covered with paint too. When the house was painted the garbage stripping job was apparent. There were wavy, unsmooth, circular appearance to the shingles on the whole entire house. I tried to show the piece of garbage but he stood there and said he didn't see it. Then he said "What do you want me to do? It's painted that's it." My house has been ruined by this company!!! Also on another point of payment. I gave the P.O.S. a first payment on a credit card when they showed up the first day. They worked a total of 4 day before being shut down. When they started again the next Thursday the P.O.S. said he would need the second payment since it was Friday and has to do payroll. What? I was goin to wait to pay but when I checked my card statement they had run my card through again for $4,000 without even telling me. I had to put a hold on their company in case they tried to do the last payment to. When they finished and when I had enough, I told P.O.S. that the job was not done correctly and what was he going to do about it? He just stood there and said "What can I do, I know it's not right'." I told him he has to take something off the price. He said he would only if I didn't write a review. A true piece of garbage till the end. To top it off when they left they left an entire bag of garbage in my backyard. They also broke my hose and there is white paint all over it. Actually there is paint everywhere that I'm goin to have to try and get off. I can't stress enough DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I am still considering suing them over the job since I have had another painter come and look at it who said it would need to be totally stripped again to be corrected. I was told they did not use the proper grinders for the job. Its been less than a week since they left and there are spots bleeding through the paint already. I wouldn't let this company near my house if I was you! RESPONSE: First off, Who is responding to this? This person has never even been to my house. DEP shut it down, like I said because I was out of town when they started the job and they did not cover anything, and did use the improper sanding equipment. I spoke with the Town and DEP personally. Did you? In fact I went easy on them, the town wanted me to make the company clean the entire interior of my home. I did it myself. As for me throwing shutters, is a LIE! I was leaning over a shutter to show Sheki that had been leaning against a tree how it should be done, since they had painted over all the metal pintals on the house. He was arguing with me and I had to tell him not to paint over the hardware on the shutters and let the shutter fall back onto the tree. About me being a police officer has nothing to do with anything. Except, I guess they hate the police. When Sheki sold me this job he stated that their would be no swirl marks in the siding. There are swirl marks gouges in the siding that were not there before. About throwing this company off the job. They already had charged my the halfway amount of $4,000 without my knowledge. What I'm I going to do throw them off and be out $8000 and the house was not even started to be primed yet. And as far as trying to ruin their reputation. This company in my opinion has not lived up to their word on anything they did on my job. They should not be on Angies List !

Jay and his team are true jewels in the business. Their level of professionalism is outstanding. Not only is the work done quickly, efficiently and of the highest quality, every one of the team seemed to make every effort to walk the extra mile. Every question was answered, every request or change during the project was handled very well. The cherry on top was the fact that they kept the work area clean and organised, were respectful and friendly, even cheerful . It is a group of trained professionals who take pride in their craft and who are treated well by the owners. And no wonder. Jay is just a great guy in every way. He was there every day during the project to check on the progress and answer any questions we might have. Such dedication is truly rare these days. We highly recommend J&S Painting and definitely will hire them again in the future.

We had an outstanding experience with J&S. Their quote was both detailed and reasonable, and they provided a superior result. Jay was accessible whenever needed, and listened carefully to some specific requests. His crew was professional, punctual, skilled and seemed genuinely happy to be working for Jay on our job. It was not unusual for one or more members to break out in song while working. The job required the repair or replacement of wood trim. These repairs were handled with skill in top quality wood. It is hard to imagine being happier with how the job turned out.
