I had a great experience. I really like working with Jay. He has lots of crews now, and I'd say the quality of the work from the crew I had this time was a B+. If you paid a really high price, you could get slightly better work. But you can't get better for this price. And it honestly surprises me that you can get this level of professionalism at this price. Pam in the office is great. Jay is great. They're so on top of things. And this time, it's the week before Christmas and I asked them for help just last week!

Simply put, it could not have gone better. Pam was exceptional at scheduling, arranging the logistics, and confirming. Sheki, the manager, was punctual for the estimate, and significantly more reasonable than the others I considered, and the team was very professional, thorough, and neat. I inspected the job yesterday, and it's perfect , and they left the room spotless when they left. (and I'm a pretty particular designer!). Even better, my client is thrilled, too. I will definitely use J&S again!

Sheki and his team did a really nice job on the interior painting of our home. This was a big job with a lot of prep work required before painting could begin. In the bedrooms, the plaster walls were in really bad shape after removing wallpaper/wood paneling and the skim coat makes the walls look virtually new. In the dining room, the ceiling was badly damaged from a thick adhesive behind the wallpaper. The guys did a great job of prepping and repairing the walls. They painted three bedrooms, two bathrooms, foyer, living room and dining room. This included all the trim, walls, interior closets and ceilings. The guys were very neat and punctual. The job was completed in roughly 8 days which was significantly less than any other estimates we received. J&S was also very competitive on their price compared to our other estimates and Sheki worked with us on making sure they secured the job. Overall, the office at J&S is very responsive and easy to get a hold of when needed. We would certainly use their services in the future and recommend them to others looking for paint work.

I liked Jay and Pam (in the office). The price was really great. Jay said he can lower the rate since the house was unoccupied and the walls looked like the previous owner just slapped on some primer to sell the house. However, they use subcontractors. the leader of the group was good and worked hard but the rest of the men were sub-par. They weren't really working when I dropped in very close to my move in date. Also, I wasn't told of the cost of the extra work I asked for before being charged on my credit card. I asked for the work to be done and wanted it to be done but I would have liked to see the cost before being charged.

The owner was professional and closely supervised the job. The two-to-three man team was competent and courteous. The job was well done.

Jay, the owner of the company, was courteous, professional, and prompt in his initial assessment and estimate of the work to our home. The price was very competitive, and they began working shortly after the contract was signed. Not only did they do a great job with prepping the house prior to painting, they were incredibly thorough. At the end of each day, the men left the outside of our home very clean. The overall look of our home has changed dramatically and we are so pleased! Upon our recommendation and observation of the quality of work that J & S did, our neighbors also had their home painted by them. We would absolutely recommend J & S to anyone considering having their home painted!

My first meeting with the owner took place exactly at the scheduled time. He was prompt and knowledgable. He asked clarifying questions frequently, a great sign of his attention to detail. Despite contracting them on fairly short notice, they were able to fit in the work I needed within my tight time frame. J called me the day work started to double check my requests for each room. He offered his advice on colors and trim work whenever solicited and I am thrilled with how everything turned out. The work was incredibly cleanly done, dealing with all company employees was pleasant and easy. I would recommend them and would use them again.

J&S did a terrific job for us painting the exterior as well as select interior rooms, including wall paper removal and waterproofing. They were thorough, timely, and clean, and worked around our schedule. At the end of the job, they were very responsive to fixing the very few minor items found without delay or question. And there were no surprises. Jay communicated very well with us and provided need advice and counsel on paint colors. Mauricio did an excellent job managing the team and work flow and Pam always got back to us either the same day or next day with answers to questions. A professional outfit focused on a quality deliverable. I will use them again.

Came a day late, but worked very hard to get the job finished a few days early!! Who could ask for anything more than that!!

No attention to detail is spared in creating a delightful customer experience even before the team arrived to do the job. Their team is meticulous and extraordinarily neat. Again, no attention to detail is spared in ensuring a perfect, flawless job is done every time. I have used J&S Painting Plus numerous times and no one compares to them. Their value and professionalism are excellent. I highly recommend them.

They were fantastic. Jay was very detailed in his quote and made sure he answered all of our questions. The crew as extremely professional, punctual, polite, and thorough. They even removed a bird's nest that was in our soffit. Heavy rain that week so the crew came to the house on a Sunday when the weather was clear so they could finish my the agreed deadline. Could not be happier and would recommend them to anyone.

The job went quite well. When we felt some of the woodwork was not quite to our satisfaction, the team responded and took care of the work and get it done the way we had wanted. Will use them again in the future.

What a nice guy to work with. It was such a pleasure to work with a skilled crew that had the infrastructure of a well run business. Jay and his wife were a great team. Calls returned, e-mails answered promptly, flexible schedule, clear and reasonable pricing..... the list goes on and on. You just don't see that much in the home improvement world. On to the painting. Real nice 3 man crew who did a terrific job. We are thrilled with the work and J&S will be added to the very short list of providers that are worth using again. Great job fellas

They replied immediately to my request for an estimate and provided one on site right after seeing my home. Pam the office manager was very responsive to my questions as the date of my service approached. There was one little hiccup with some paint choices, but they immediately resolved the issue. The lead man on the job was very nice and thorough. Each day after leaving they would be sure to clean up as well. I would use J&S again.

We were in the market to paint the exterior of our house, deck and garage. We contacted a few painters for estimates...Sheki and J&S Painting were the most responsive and informative. At the first meeting they provided us with references and a verbal quote and then by the end of that day we also received a written quote. Throughout the entire process, they showed up exactly when they said they would, kept us informed as to when the job would be completed, and cleaned up daily as they were going through the process. Sheki, Pam, Jose and Juan did a fantastic job and we will definitely use them again!

Jay and his workers were very punctual, kept area as clean as possible and Jay responded promptly to any questions I had. The paint job was excellent, no complaints there but the plastering could have been better. Now that we are using the room more often it is easier to see that the walls are not as smooth as promised . Price was very competitive and warranty on paint job was a deal maker for us.

They did an excellent job. We felt that given the job that was done, the cost was reasonable. The workers he had were very meticulous. With a prior painter, I had to put together a list of things that had to be done for things that corrected or fixed. With these guys, they pretty much read my mind and did everything on their own. There was little that I had to point out and they were very good. We have recommended them to a neighbor who has used them as well.

Jay and his worker showed up promptly on the day that we were to start the job. Jay introduced me to his worker and we went over everything prior to the start of the job, so there would be no misunderstanding as to what needed to be done. I expected a crew for the eight doors - One Guy, three days, it was a complete slop job and HE Stained the front door TWO Different colors !!! (the interior was the right color and the exterior was the same color as the other doors ! ). It took awhile, but Jay and his Partner did the right thing by us. In addition, I am told that the gentleman in question, no longer works for J & S. Jay is an gentleman and he kept his word. When we hired him for the job, he told us that he would be there until we were happy and satisfied with the job. It took 8 months, but Jay kept his word and made it right. I might tried him again with a small painting job, because he did do the right thing to make everything right at a personal expense to himself.

Estimate was far in excess of quoted price because of increas in size of Job. However the price of the extras, added to the special seemed to me to be out of line.

This was our first experience with J&S and we are pleased. Estimate was reasonable (not the lowest, but not the highest) and provided within a week of our initial call. Work was completed on schedule. Painters, Jay (owner) and Pam (office) were courteous and professional. All and all--painless (as it should be). Will certainly use again.

It started with the owner, Jay, coming to our home and thoroughly examining the exterior siding. When we agreed to the estimate, Jay's workers showed up on schedule and completed the project in a timely fashion. During the job, some concerns that we had were promptly addressed. We were very pleased with the outcome. My wife and I would have no hesitation in using the services of J&S again.

It turned out very good. I would and have recommended them.

Jay is punctual and his crew is efficient and pleasant to have in the house. Work was performed well for the agreed upon amount. Changes were easily resolved. A positive experience.
