They have been winterizing and opening my system for around 3 years now. They came in last year to winterize my system and, after closing off the main water supply to the outdoor area, failed to leave open one of the taps near my pool, a pretty standard procedure as I have been informed. During the winter the water in the tap promptly froze up and cracked the tap, and when I proceeded to open the system in the spring water came gushing out of the broken tap. When I called them they claimed that it was not their responsilibility and that it was the pool guy that was supposed to take care of that, not them. I gave them benefit of the doubt and took the cost of replacing that tap on the chin. Fast forward one year to 2013 winterization. They come to the house and proceed to winterize the outside irrigation system, this time making sure to leave the pool tap open after shutting off the main water supply to the outdoor area. They then look around the crawl space and inside the suspended ceiling in the children's play room, to try and locate the valves that will shut off the water supply to the outdoor hose bibs around the perimeter of the house, something that I asked them to ensure is done. In doing this, they caused a bunch of debris and dirt to fall down from the suspended ceiling and onto the children's play room floor. They also left a number of the ceiling tiles not properly returned to their original position. When I called the company to complain and tell them that they should return and clean up their mess and finish the job properly, the office receptionist told me that the company does not normally shut off the valves and that that was something extra that they did. Really???? A winterization company that doesnt shut off valves to outdoor hose bibs as part of their standard procedure???? As for the dirt and debris in the kids' play room, they claimed that the technician saw the mess and asked the nanny whether she wanted that cleaned or if she would do it. Again, really???? That's the level of service that they provide???? Its a children's play area for heaven's sake!!! That should have been cleaned up immediately without question!!!! Anyway, in my mind, as long as openings and closings are uneventful this company is fine. If for whatever reason you have any issues with your opening or closing however, my experience of Irratech is that they will claim no responsilibility for anything and will try and pass the buck. I will never use this company again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

Another contractor was digging a trench in my yard for an unrelated project and he severed a sprinkler line. I noticed a day later and called IrraTech after finding them on Angie's List. IrraTech was fast, responsive and professional. A two man crew arrive exactly on time and had everything repaired quickly. They even reseeded where they needed to dig which I was not expecting them to do. Quick, easy, right price, professional. I'll definitely be using them for turn on and shut down services as well.

Fine in some respects and poorly in another.

They schedule an appointment promptly and performed the service in a very professional manner. I recommend them and will use them in the future.

They arrived on time and W/in a day of my call. Spoke excellent English and clearly had expertise to offer. I will use them again. I think the price might be just a tad high but I could be wrong. It was not excessive for the work done.

They did a very great job with this visit and it did not run much either. They are a very good and very reliable company. They put my system in and they maintain it for me too. Once in the fall they come out to blow the water and then in the spring if you need them to turn the water on. Depending on what you have done, the charges run form $100-$150. They are very good and I have no problems with them at all.
