CABRERA HOME IMPROVEMENT INC

Initially fine..until my roof leaked. Telmo, the owner was very pleasant however he failed to put boots on my 2 vents which caused leaks and damage to my son's room. he told me after the fact that I had to get a plumber to reduce the size of the vent...something he could have told me while he was doing the job. I called a plumber (my expense) and got it done. The only way the plumber could now remove it was to put a hole in my wall and questioned why the "roofer" didn't do this to avoid this from occurring. Telmo told me his guys were going to be there to put the boot on and replace the tiles but then didn't show up. When I called him he said it was too cold...I stayed home from work and told him that was unacceptable. He said he would send his guys but asked if I would "take care of his guys". He didn't do what he was supposed to do, I had a hole in my son's wall in the dead of winter and he wants ME to take care of his guys? When all was done, he came over to show me the old pipe and how the boot wouldn't fit, but didn't comprehend the issues that he should have done it when he did the job originally. He then informed me that "the same thing will happen on the other side of the house because he didn't put a boot on the other vent! and i should just call him when it leaks and he'll come over. Won't be using or recommending Cabrera Home Improvements in the future.

Telmo worked promptly and professionally to get our new roof papered and shingled before the house could suffer further rain damage. He was genuinely concerned that our site be quickly protected, yet he did not cut corners with the quality of the work, despite the difficulties of working with extra thick asphalt shingles. I was most impressed, however, with Telmo's pride and mastery in working with copper. In addition to installing the usual copper flashing between the walls and rooflines, Telmo skillfully solved the challenges of flashing around the eyebrow window and chimney. Instead of soldering separate sheets for the chimney, he worked with one continuous sheet of copper, improving both the look and water-tightness of the final product (see photos). He even went so far as to trim down a large chimney stone that was in the way. During our project Telmo was able to branch out into other sub-specialties of the trade, applying Hardiplank siding to our eves and dormer, and mounting several heavy oak "outriggers" under the roof. He was always enthusiastic about finding the "right" solution in terms of quality, cost and time, even if it meant taking home a little less profit at the end of the day. Such integrity is very hard to find. We were very lucky Cabrera Home Improvement worked on our project.

He did a fabulous job and we're very pleased with the work. He's a great person and was easy to deal with.

I've heard that he does wonderful work, but he's so busy. He came, he looked and we're still waiting several months later.

HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HE DOES WONDERFUL WORK. I HAVE USED HIM SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST. THE TIME SPENT ON THE WORK WAS TIMELY. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME PER THE ESTIMATE.

CABRERA IS A GREAT COMPANY AND THEY DO A FANTASTIC JOB. THEY FINISHED THE JOB FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AND THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN THEY WERE DONE. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE END RESULT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.
