ADR Paver

We have actually recommended them to many people. I went with them because I trusted what he was telling me and it actually came out to be the best decision I made. The work took 1/2 a day.

Absolutely horrible! The workers are inexperienced and are to busy sitting down until the owner shows up. The quality of work is just terrible. If I wasn't home during the process I would have been really screwed as all they do is short cut. When I reached out to them regarding when they were coming back to complete the job, they just sent me a bill for the remaining balance (which I would have paid if the job was completed). Issues The blacktop for driveway fell apart after a few weeks as they did not use enough asphalt. (came back next season to repair, but coming up already in some places). The concrete in the garage cracked after a few weeks. (came back next season and repaired, it has a few small cracks which I pointed out, but they didn't bother to fix. It is now is in two slabs instead of the agreed upon one). The mortar around blue stone started to separate. (never fixed and looks pretty bad). One of the workers crashed into the side of my garage making damage. ( Since the damage was not to bad, I agreed to have him power wash the garage which wasn't completed). After they applied new seal to a part of the old blacktop, one of the workers ran it over with the roller. (Never replaced).

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMANY!! The price was great and the end result was fine, not perfect. This company failed to inform us that we needed a building permit, as we are a commercial location. This was disclosed several times, as there was a question if the drainage at the end of the drive was required. They started the work, removed the old asphalt and placed it all on the road. The building department came and issued a stop work order, because of no permit. The building department later lifted the order and let them finish but they had to have their insurance paper work to the town by the end of the next day.... Almost 30 day later, and after several phone calls, we finally received the paperwork just in time. Turns out, the company listed on all the insurance documents, is totally different company. NO GOOD!! They also thought they could sweet talk is in to believing their BS story about the insurance.

we had a large stone driveway that we wanted to pave as well as border with Belgium block. During our review with ADR (Reis) we discussed removing a stump, installing a trench drain and removing some ledge to complete the paving as we wanted, ADR quoted all of that additional work with the proposal and we decided to go forward with them. They performed the work as quoted, they come with the right equipment, and they performed quality work. There are a few items that we are working through but for the most part we are happy and they are responsive on addressing them. I would use ADR again.

We hired ADR last November. . There have been many issues with the workmanship. 1st, the old driveway asphalt was to be removed but they only removed maybe a 1/4 of the old asphalt and covered the rest with dirt. I contacted the owner of the company, Reis, and he said he would take care of it. The next day I checked again and they only removed some more of the old asphalt under the dirt they put down. I called Reis again. They finally removed all of the old asphalt the following day. The new asphalt surface is inconsistant. Reis said I need to have sealer put on. At an extra cost though. The ashphalt driveway was suppose to be 1" lower than the garage concrete pad, to prevent rain water entering the garage, but it was almost the same height. Reis assured me that rain water would not go past the concrete pad. I found out later that he was wrong. When the work was completed, the next day, Reis was knocking at my door for the balance. Which I paid him then. And then the bad workmanship appeared again: The pavers were suppose to have a special sand that hardened. Well, that was not installed. I showed Reis, he verified that the wrong sand was installed, but has not come to fix this. The stucco work they did had fallen off the walls after a couple of months! They came back to repair the stucco. Which is still on at this time. The biggest complaint is that I came to find out that the cement work, that measured 11'x19' and was suppose to be level, was 4" higher on 1 side! After contacting Reis and the office, and got no where, I had to hire another mason to add more cement and make it level. The cost, $4,150.00! I contacted Reis with most of the concerns and he always had some answer or excuse. I had then contacted the office manager Nathalia numerous times with the concerns that were not addressed. I just got the run around. Then, my calls were not returned anymore. I have been very patient. I have not asked for any more then what is in the contract that was paid in full. I just want the work I paid for to be completed properly. ADR has shown me, and hopefully you, that they do not care about their client's. They do not stand by their work.

We had a positive experience from request for an estimate through work completion. ADR Paver Group proposed few approaches and explained advantages/disadvantages of each, I picked few contractors from the Angies list with good reviews and only ADR explained me how this works. The office personnel responded to follow-up queries on a timely basis and helped schedule the job at a time convenient for us. The work was completed at the promised time. We highly recommend this company for your paving needs.

Reis did a very good job replacing the blacktop of our driveway and sealing it. He is very professional and has a very good work ethic. We are very happy with the outcome and we have recommended him to our friends who have inquired about the work he did for us.

Ok......it went fine once they got to my home

The job was a great success. They were on time. Got the job done with a minimum of fuss and left after two days. The final product looks great!

The guys did a great job. Gave me an estimate that was in line with pricing from other contractors but they were able to meet a deadline as I needed the work done before it got too cold. I have had a few more requests since the job was done and they always show up which is fantastic

I have nothing but great things to say about Reis and ADR Paver Group. I needed to get this done asap and he adjusted the scheduling to fit us in. We are very happy with the final product and with the service. I highly recommend them for any home project. I will surely be using them in the future.

They were on time and professional. The sidewalk and driveway look great and I'm very pleased with the work that they did.

It was very hard for me to choose between so many contractors here in Angie's List. I had a few of them come and give me estimates but ADR stood up higher between all of them. There was no beating around the bush. Reis gave me an estimated quote the same day. He took me around my home and showed me things they would take care of. Things I didn't even expected to be included in the scope of work. One example was, Reis had his guys fix the stone wall that had missing joints and were cracking about to come apart. I have kids and they run along side that wall, I had no idea there were loose pieces to that wall. It's the little things that count. I see a lot of people making a big deal about little things that don't matter. Reis was honest, his guys are VERY hard working and the job came out better than I ever expected!!! I'm very happy with Reis and his team!! I have recommended ADR Paver to my neighbors who walk and stare at my new driveway every day.

Terrible!!!! Stay away from Reiss and ADR Pavers. I wish I simply did not rely on the reviews on Angie's List. I should have obtained reviews from other homeowners near where I live. Here are the numerous problems and issues with this company: 1. Not only did they not show-up on the start date agreed, Reiss did not bother to call and mention that he was delayed on another job - they ended up starting a week late. 2. From he beginning, ADR rushed the job and did it poorly. They just wanted to get it done fast, get paid and leave. The crush stone compacting was not done correctly and as a result after the asphalt was applied, there are now bumps on my driveway and cracks are beginning to form. The cementing of the Belgium blocks was done sloppily and looks terrible. The re-paving was done in November 2017. I will likely have to get it completely redone in the next year or two. 3. ADR removed my sprinkler systems in the area where the driveway was extended. But, there broke 5 sprinkler heads and damaged the hose pipe. It cost me almost $700 to get it repaired. I have called Reiss almost a dozen times and left messages. He refuses to call me back or reimburse me for the damaged he and his team did to my sprinkler system. 4. When Reiss and ADR first arrived and started work at my home, my next door neighbor asked him if ADR could also re-pave their driveway since they were also at my house. Long-story short, Reiss was hired to do the job at my neighbors after completing my driveway. When Reiss' guys were using a heavy hand roller at one point, they lost control of it and it went down the driveway ruining plants, bushes and the turf. Thank goodness there were no people or cars at the time. And, Reiss did not reimburse them for the damage his guys did! Bottom line: Reiss and his team clearly do NOT know what they are doing and are untrustworthy. I am now going to begin the process of filing a compliant against his company with the Better Business Bureau.

Great. Clean neat and good quality. On time and well supervised. Only issue was trying to schedule the job due to bad weather.

Other than being a little slow getting back to me initially, it was a very positive experience. They showed up on time, explained the process, kept me updated and finished promptly. They cleaned up and did a very professional job. I was very satisfied and would have no problem recommending them to my friends or relatives.

The work was all completed in one day. ADR did a terrific job, Reis and the crew were very responsive, professional and courteous. And, price was very fair. Nathalia in the office is super-responsive and on top of the follow-up and planning. Highly recommend.

Due to a conflict in scheduling we were unable to consummate the deal. I was very impressed with how they handled the situation. I plan to use them in the spring.

Reis and his staff were quick to quote and follow-up. The work was done well with a crew to take care of each aspect of the job. The job was complete in a matter of hours.

Following some scheduling issues regarding the weather, the service provider came promptly and left quietly with a job very well done! Driveway has never looked this good. We would definitely use them again.

Most reasonable price among 3 contractors; Responds quickly to inquiry

The crew that did my driveway was very impressive, working in a very well-coordinated fashion, with VERY professional results. My driveway never looked so good! The original driveway was very old and was no longer level. My job began with the foreman giving the driveway a thorough examination. He then took the time to discuss with me the plan they intended to follow - as it turned out, part of the driveway needed to be removed to accommodate my gate and other adjustments needed to me made in order to make the driveway level upon completion. Once I agreed, he proceeded with the work, which was done in about three hours. I watched him choreograph the work and the results were awesome. These people are professionals who know what they're doing. And, even with the additional adjustments, they stuck to the original price for the job. Finally, I should mention that the representative in their main office was very gracious in her efforts to work with me to accommodate my difficult schedule, so I could be present for the work. I highly recommend ADR Pavers!

ADR provided one the most competitive prices we were quoted. Reis (the owner) was also very helpful in conceptualizing the design with us and making us comfortable with what we wanted to do. Driveway: They completely removed the existing driveway, expanded the main area of it and put down new asphalt. We also had them do a triple edge, with two belgian blocks laying flat, with a third row standing up. THey used "jumbo" blocks which look so much nicer than the smaller cobblestone ones. We also put in place a thick apron at the entrance of the driveway and an apron coming out of the garage. The style and execution looks VERY classy. When they were installing the blocks, the new path was a bit higher than how the driveway sat previously. I asked Reis about this and he said "when people look at the driveway it will be flat and people will say 'that was done right'". He said "trust me". We did. He was absolutely right. it looks great. Walls: We had the old few walls removed and installed new walls. They reinstalled the walls way better than before. The walls were angle so we could more easily get in and out of the garage. We also did thicker flagstone on the top. The thicker size was Reis's design call and it was beautiful. Garage Floor: We had the team replace the existing concrete floor, which was no small task. This took them longer than expected. No once did anyone complain or revise the initial pricing estimate. They did have to come back a couple times to fix the level by one of the doors, but turned out just fine. From start to finish the whole job went smoothly and we were very pleased with the work done. We plan on doing our front and back walkways and will definitely use ADR to do.

They were easy to deal with from start to finish. They replied quickly to the request for a quote and we set up an appointment quickly. He quoted me the job immediately. I requested other quotes from local contractors and ADR was the most competitive although they were all in the same ballpark. They worked as quickly as they could based on the weather conditions and kept me informed with a phone call as to when they would start, resume and finish the job. Everything went well and I would recommend them for driveway paving.
