I can't overstate how great these guys are, both in service and price. Whenever I needed assistance with my HVAC system it seemed to be an emergency and every time I called they'd show up same or next day to fix the issue. Last week I had to replace my entire HVAC system(Labor Day Weekend no less) and there was absolutely no reason to shop price or consider another service provider, THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! Reasonable prices, service second to none and when they replaced my system, they worked clean and even rerouted some wiring and a duct to make for a cleaner and neater utility room. Excellent service. He answered his phone and he was honest and helpful! I called late at night and I was told what to do until morning. He would have come right away, but he said it wasn’t necessary. He has 24 hour service. He came the next morning and fixed my issues with my boiler in about 20 minutes! He explained what was necessary to fix the system and he is courteous and understanding! He also had the parts in his truck. l highly recommend his company for any heating, air conditioning or plumbing needs. He is affordable (as in his name on his truck!). The problem was diagnosed immediately. An additional part was needed. The repair person went out shopping for it and returned within the hour. The repair was completed. The only charges were for the basic service call and the part. There were no additional charges for the time to shop for the part and return, or extra time to install it.

As a new home owner, I called A-JAY plumbing to so a service call to make sure my furnace was ready to handle the winter. Dimitri did a through job cleaning and explaining the various components of the furnace and it was getting pretty evident that the furnace was a ticking time bomb waiting to release CO if a crack developed in the burner. After doing my own research after they left, I decided to spend the money and replace rather than take the risk. On calling Dimitri back, he re-iterated there was no immediate danger as the unit was working as its supposed to. The quote he gave me was comparable to other quotes I received. But what was different about his quote was Dimitri could back his recommended furnace and installation type with technical reasons, which as an engineer I found much more logical. He was very through, and made sure I had all the information I needed on the various furnace types before making my decision. On the day of the installation, they were very prompt and did a nice job. The custom sheet metal work they did was professional and the furnace worked great. Before they left they made sure to walk me through various components of the system and do basic tasks like filter replacement. At the end of the day it was about quality and having the work done by someone who takes pride in what they do and stand behind their work. I felt A-JAY meets all of the above. I will be hiring A-JAY for all my future HVAC and plumbing needs.

There were problems with the Honeywell electro mechanical controller. Leonid came to my home multiple times thus eliminating other causes as the manufacturer required before sending in their rep to replace the defective part of the system. It works beautifully and more efficiently than what I had before.

During the polar vortex the fridge line that apparently was just thrown in the attic by previous owners burst. I had to quickly find a plumber in the area and have them come over immediately as I was at work - found Jay Plumbing and they were able to come over very quickly (in 3 hours) and check it out. Next day they came and fixed it so it sits properly under insulation. I was very happy that they sent a guy same day, even though he was busy at another job whole day. The service was good too.

They fix the problem the first time every time. They are very good at coming over quickly when there is an emergency. They are professional and respectful. I have developed a relationship with one of the employees and he has been very sensitive to my needs.

I've used them for a few years and they are okay. They also do air conditioning. Their price is okay and their quality is good. They were on time. I think they overcharged me a little bit when I added on the extra job.

Very mixed reviews. We have used these folks for many years in our home. In renovating a newly purchased 100 year old house/shop they came through and helpfully informed us that the furnace was old and likely to leak carbon monoxide fumes into the house. We contracted with them for an new efficient furnace. The good news is that they put it in quickly and neatly, and we were told by a plumber friend that the furnace they installed is of good quality. The bad news was twofold. First they did not clean up at all, dumping not only the old furnace in our back yard, but also all the cardboard packing, left over tubing and even lunch wrappers! Worse, they either did not know or did not inform us that it was unlikely that we could legally or even safely vent the new furnace into the old chimney. Thus we had to learn the hard way from the building inspector that we would have to convert to a direct vent system. the good news is that they are installing the system at minimal markup.
