Valley Property Maintenance

Description of Work: I am writing this for my 89 yr old mother. She signed a contract with Don White, owner of Unique Property Maintenance, in August of 2010. The contract was for a furnace and heat pump, new bathroom vanity with double sinks, 2 new faucets, supply line and pop up drains, and a new shower stall door installed. The estimate was $6750.00 and my mother gave him a check for $4200.00 Mr. White installed the shower door first. It was extremely flimsy and when the door fell off twice, he was asked to replace it with a better one. He claimed to have installed many of these doors with no problems, yet it took him 3 tries to get this right. He never replaced it or did any other work. My mother called him regularly and he would occasionaly answer with some excuse. In November of 2010 she contacted the attorney general's office. On March 29 2011 she recieved a letter from the attorney general's office saying that the company (Unique Property Maintenance) had advised them that they were about to resolve her complaint. She never heard from Don White. On April 22 2011 she sent a letter to the attorney general's asking them to contact him again. She never heard from them again, either.
