New long driveway blacktop

very good. apparently the ground beneath the driveway is soft so no cars can be parked on a small portion but they have never been parked there anyway. looks great

The end product looks like a street, not a driveway. I was not informed that the method they use to fill the cracks would leave a very noticeable linear patch that the owner states will always be visible, even after further resealing. He claims that his is the best way to preserve the driveway and protect it from cracks. Perhaps, but I am not sure I would have done this if I had known beforehand what the end product would look like. It looks like a patch job, not a newly sealed driveway.

Went well, actual size was probably more than quoted, no extra charge. Punctual and professional, no problems so far.

Work with the father, his main concern is providing a good job. Son is more concerned with maintaining profit margin. Father is very professional, did extra work at no cost. When half the drive asphalt was lifted, found no stone base. Provided stone at no cost. Extended drive width at my request at no extra charge. Dug up tree roots to do extension at no charge. Great to work with, accessible and agreeable. Had started with 8 suppliers, he was by far the best price for the work he proposed (not the cheapest overall). Delivered a great result. Recommend doing job late in season (October) for best price.

Not sure if this was the one who never got back to me or proposed doing an inadequate job for a lot more money than other contractors.

My driveway looks great. They could not have been better to work with. Mr. Blacktop is punctual, reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with.

He shows up and follows up when he says he will. The job was done in a timely fashion and at a fair price. We plan to use Mr.Blacktop again for all our asphalt and driveway needs. He seems very honest and reliable.

I've just had my driveway repaved by Mr Backtop and must say that I was very impressed at the outcome. My first reaction was Wow! The quality of the work was outstanding. Considering the length and steepness of my driveway, I was also impressed that is was all done in two days, with the old surface first stripped down before repaving. The service was very responsive, courteous and professional. The project was bid mid-range to others, with the emphasis here on quality - and Mr Blacktop certainly delivered. Would I recommend Mr Blacktop to others? - Yes indeed!

Came right away and gave a written estimate. Problem is he wanted $5,800 for the same job I had two other estimates for of $4,100 and $4,500. Also, he did not want to remove as much of the bad asphalt by the street as the other two. I am sure he would do a wonderful job, just can't afford him.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. MR. STANLEY GAVE ME AND ESTIMATE AND HE WAS ACCURATE WITH HIS ASSESSMENT. THE WORK WAS OF HIGH QUALITY. THE WORKERS WERE POLITE AND RESPECTFUL OF THE PROPERTY AND OF ME.
