All indications seem like it went well. The tenants have not had a chance to test it yet because it is not warm out.

When I called to make the appointment, I was very pleased that they would be able to send someone in 2 days.They called me on the day of the appointment to make sure I would be home and told me that the technician would be there in an hour. James arrived right on time. He brought a mat, which he put down outside the door, and proceeded to put red booties over his shoes before he came into the house. He was very knowledgable and very personable. As I had only been in the house a few months, I had a lot of questions. He answered every one of them. He serviced the boiler, replaced the pressure relief valve, and even went up into the attic when I mentioned a possible problem up there. He told me the cost of the repair, and then explained that by paying a bit more (about $44), I could get the repair at a discount plus be an advantage plan member. That would cover 2 tune ups a year, one for heating, one for AC. With the regular price of a tune up around $149, it was a good deal. Also, if I have an emergency, I will get faster service, and a discount. I saw the quality of service I got, had read other reviews on Angies List, and decided that this was a good company to do business with.

Our technician arrived on time for the appointment and was fastidious in his work. Although our furnace is less than ideal, he serviced it with a small repair as well. He recommended replacement of the furnace, but was not pushy in a sales sense. Since the servicing, the furnace has not run better in our three years' experience with it. It burns clean and as efficiently as possible. The technician was amiable and professional.

Service person Rob arrived on time was neat and curious. He proceeded to check and clean the boiler and noticed that the thermocouple which keeps the pilot light lit was worn and recommended that it be replaced. I agreed and he changed it. The work performed was fine and I don't have a problem with it. Rob was very knowledgeable about his job. The problem I have is that he charged me $180. For the thermocouple which costs about $15. The "deal" for the cleaning was $55. So I paid $235 for a cleaning and the installation of a $15 part which took about 3 min. To install since he had the boiler apart for the cleaning anyway. I feel like I was charged a lot for the service provided since he was there already and the boiler was apart for cleaning.

Jim, James and Rob were total professional, on time, neat and efficient. They got the whole job done in three days. Honored estimate given.

He is terrific. I am very impressed with him. His name is Jim Serra. He is very professional. Everything he quoted was exactly what it cost me. When he came on my porch, he put flippers on his shoes to not track anything in the house and that impressed me. We just bought a new house and however installed the AC previously, there were many things wrong with it and we had a very bad leak. He came in and stopped the leak and he looked and told different things that were needed to be repaired. He told us what was the most important thing. He was not pushy about what was needed to be done, which was very nice.

I needed to have my air conditioner serviced because it wasn't working. I called Aire Serv, and they were able to come out the next day. This was fantastic since it's 90 degrees outside right now, and having no A/C is very uncomfortable. Jim called me before heading over, and kept me informed every step of the way, letting me know what the problem was. It ended up being an electrical problem, a blown capacitor. The capacitor was replaced, and now the A/C is working great. Jim was a dream to work with. He was courteous, and easy going, and very very nice and reasonable. I would absolutely work with them again given the opportunity.

We called in an emergency situation (25 people scheduled to arrive the next day for a 95th birthday celebration and temps in the 90's). Jim came out within an hour and we were back in business and very relieved.

I had never had my 6 year old gas furnace cleaned so when I saw the local Aire Serv's coupon on Angies List I bought it and made an appointment for 2 days later. The technician, Jim Serra, called about 20 minutes before his arrival as promised, and was at my home at the time agreed upon. He put down a mat outside the door & donned booties before entering. Jim worked carefully & methodically, did the necessary work & found that the blower capacitor was out of range. He explained that while it was working now it might ruin the blower in the future. Rather than wait I decided to have him replace the part at that time. He finished the work and was always courteous & pleasant. A few days later I took the front panel off the furnace to replace the filter & thought I smelled gas. It was very slight but not something to fool with so I called Aire Serv. It was late afternoon & was told that Jim couldn't be there till the evening. He called a little after 5pm to say he would be there in 10 minutes. he went through the same mat & booties routine & carefully the furnace. He found a very slight leak & tightened the fitting. There is no way to tell if the leak was caused by his previous work on the furnace but there was not a hint of a charge. He just packed up his kit & left. Being a Aire Serv franchisee, his work is guaranteed. I was very satisfied with his work, his demeanor & his punctuality. It is comforting to know there is someone who will punctually respond for any heating or air conditioning emergency. He seemed fair & trustworthy & I would certainly recommend him for heating or air conditioning service.

Went very well; however to clean an oil furnace costs more than gas, I was not aware of it when I booked service.

After explaining the problem to Jim, he presented the work that needed and recommended to be done with cost listed on each task. He completed all the work within the estimated time. Both automatic air vents, zone valve and relief valve were replaced and working. I am very happy and satisfied with his work and his willingness to come on Sunday due to my emergency situation. I highly recommend Air Serv service to fix your heater problems.

The appointment was excellent! Mr. Serra was on time, highly professional, quite pleasant and tremendously thorough. I will continue to use Aire Serv in the future and I will recommend their service to anyone.

Excellent service. Needed someone qualified to install my new "Nest" thermostat as self-install is not recommended by Nest for my HVAC system. Jim showed up when he said he would, was very courteous, provided excellent installation service, and showed me some of the details of operating the new equipment. Would highly recommend this company.

I would not recommend this company if you don't know what is wrong with your systems in the first place. However, based on past reviews I would have considered using this company if they didn't charge me for an estimate.

Arrived ahead schedule & job was professionally performed, taking care not to leave any soot, etc anywhere, so no cleanup afterward for me. Did NOT try to do a rush job but instead a very methodical, precise, step by step procedure. I waited this long to write this review just to be sure there were no problems or reasons for a call back. Boiler performs perfectly, no problems. Excellent job & very friendly.

Our heat went out on 12/4/12 and fortunately it was a warm day, 58F. I searched Angies list and chose a HVAC company that was close to our home. I called when I got home from work and was told that a technician could come over that evening after he finished up at the job he was working on. Jim, the owner, called us at 6PM to let us know he was coming over that evening. He came in and diagnosed our 23-year-old furnace and let us know we needed an igniter and a gas valve. He didnt have the parts since the furnace was so old but he said he would make a few calls in the morning and let us know when he could get back to us. He called the next day around 1PM and said he had the parts and he would be over in the late afternoon. He fixed it all and we had heat!! That night it got down to the low 20s so it was rally good timing.

It was a tremendous experience. It was my first time using Angie's List and it was a tremendous experience. they were extremely helpful and professional.

I was totally pleased with this company from the first phone call!! I called in the evening and was shocked to receive a return call within 20 minutes of the initial phone call. Jim also came over immediately-8:30 PM!!! He explained he would come back on a Saturday-8:30 AM to complete work. He showed up promptly and performed the services. The air conditioning is working beautifully. I would totally recommend this company and will continue to use them for maintenance and for my heating system. Jim was a pleasure to deal with. At the risk of repeating myself ,Aireserv is the only company I would call for service on my central air.

Jim Serra owner of Aire Serv Heating and Air-Conditioning was professional, knowledgeable and reliable from the beginning of the job to the end. He responded quickly to my inquiry about installing central air in my home. He gave me a very good price and explained all the pros and cons of the various different units and gave me the breakdown of the entire job. When I was ready to go, he had his crew in place within the week and they worked straight through until the job was completed. They were extremely neat and respectful of my home. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Things went very well. The young man was extremely helpful and walked me through the technology. It included remote access from my phone and my computer and he patiently walked me through how to do it all. He was very neat and even covered his shoes when he came into my home. I appreciated those small details. I didn't grade the "price" category because this was a gift and I have no idea how much it cost.

My Central Air stopped working on Saturday afternoon, I called Aire Serv and a person answered and said. Jim Serra would call back. Not only did he call back, he was at my house by 9 pm on Saturday night.. He repaired my air conditioner and when he left there was no evidence he had even been in the house. This was not the first time I had called Aire Serv and was always responded to quickly with professionalism, but on previous visits it was during the week. The fact that this was on a weekend impressed me so much, I felt I had to pass along his dedication to others.Jim was not the original installer of my system so I have experience with other services.. Aire Serv is by far the best I've used.
