Sweep Solutions

Michael Aliberti, owner of sweep solutions had his workers come on the first day to start the project and told me that he needed the 1,800 paid in full. I made the mistake of giving this man 1,800 in cash. After acknowledging that he received the money Michael Aliberti never sent his workers back to finish the job. It was excuse after excuse and he eventually stopped answering the phone. I served him with a certified letter last month stating that I will take him to small claims court and he still hasn't responded. I'm in the process of filling out the paperwork. This man is a Wiesel and a worm. His word means nothing.

When I lit my first fire of the season in early October, all the smoke poured into the house coating everything with soot. Two new workers were dispatched to examine the problem (the original worker had been discharged from service earlier for unrelated reasons) and they found he had installed too small a liner in my flue. A week later they were back with a larger liner which produced similar adverse results. Apparently the smoke shelf in my fireplace is too deep to have the diameter of the flue restricted in any way. Consequently I requested a refund and finally received a check approximately four weeks later, which bounced three days after it was deposited leaving me with a fee from my bank on top of the money I was already out. When contacted, Mr. Aliberti became irate when I insisted he come to my house with cash as I would not accept his checks any longer. He ended the conversation by hanging up on me. Subsequently on multiple occasions he promised to have the money delivered to my house but at the last minute there was always a reason why it didn't happen. I now have to take him to small claims court to get my money back. Update: As a result of police intervention, the owner of Sweep Solutions refunded all my money in cash.
