Description of Work: They checked out air conditioner.

Description of Work: Went to this location of P.C. Richard to price a flat screen HDTV. I inquired about a 40 inch model that was on sale. The salesman indicated that he had none in stock at that location, but he called around to the other locations to see if any where available- none were, so he asked I would be interested in the 46 inch model- He quoted me a price of $75 more than the 40 inch model, which I thought was fair and I agreed to purchase. I then selected a stand for the TV and had my credit card out to finalize the purchase. Salesman then announced he had "made a mistake" on the price and that the actual price would be $275 more than the than the 40 inch model. At that time, I walked out of the store. Went to the Levittown location of this chain and repeated the process. Salesman indicated that he had one 40 inch model in stock, but if I were interested in the 46 inch model he could give it at the SAME price as the 40 inch model. I purchased it in Levittown and was very pleased with everything. Turns out that the 46 inch TV was featured on sale at the 40 inch price in the sale circular that came out the next day. The salesman in Plainview had to have known this, shame on him for trying to jack up the price. I will never go to their Plainview location again.
