It went very well.

Absolutely excellent! Lou was here everyday work was done. He delivered the project on budget and two weeks earlier than expected and discussed. He is very punctual and very professional. Very clean, never left a mess behind on each day that work was performed. I recommend him to anyone doing home improvements. The company name does not do him justice. I am very picky and he met all my expectation. The best part is that he actually manages your project and is the only contact you will deal with. This is for me a relationship for future projects.

The architect DID NOTHING - he did not make suggestions or provide any professional guidance. On top of that - he NEVER even delivered a design or quote!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN YOU.

Owner Lou was present and working for the entire 5 day project. I couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship and look of the deck. Not only that, but they were at the low-end of the price range compared to the 4 other estimates I recieved. Lou was very accomodating and his work is meticulous. Highly reccomend this company!

I've been meaning to write this review for some time. Lou and his guys showed up in the middle of winter and replaced my terrace. It was in pretty bad shape. Lou is a great guy. Easy to speak with and very knowledgeable. He's been in the business a very long time and works with his sons. They worked outside in the freezing weather and snow the entire time. They showed up on time were clean and did an amazing job. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would recommend them any day and would hire them again without hesitation.

They are reliable, punctual, polite and master craftsmen. He returns calls immediately and shows up when he says he will. They are also very neat.

The deck is drop-dead gorgeous. He had to rip out the whole original deck. He certified in the composite material I chose so he knew what he was doing. The team came every morning at 7:20, sat in their cars & drank coffee. At 7:30 precisely, they opened their car doors & started working. You could set your clock to them! They never imposed at any time. The gave me so many choices & measured everything. The product arrived, & they got started right away. Everything turned out perfect, perfect, perfect! They were wonderful to work with. He was perfectionist and very detail oriented. We didn't have to sit on them to get the work done & done right. They were extremely professional & personable. They were great guys. All of their references were so proud of their own decks that they invited me over to he his work. He brought samples, patterns, pictures - He did everything he could to make sure I got an excellent product. He put in beautiful little touches & patterns I never would've thought of. The deck is level so there are no puddles when it rains. It's just amazing! I love them! I've given their information to other people in the neighborhood who were impressed by their work.

They really are excellent. They are also very reasonable. They were prompt and neat. They were prepared and on time. They were very good.

Lou Marciano (Deck Designs) and his crew are professional, talented and take great care and pride in their workmanship. Deck Designs recently completed a 24 window replacement, Two Provia entry door install, aluminum re-capping to my entire house and garage, and a variety of smaller projects to my 1906 built victorian home. Deck designs owner Lou Marciano not only was present and working each and every day on the job, he closely supervisord every memeber of his crew to ensure profection. I have had alot of work done on my home, but my overall experience with Lou and Deck Designs was far superior than any other home improvement company I have ever contracted with in the past.(including larger and smaller contractors) Deck Designs prices were fair, and based upon the noticable improvement of my home's "curb appeal", I feel it was a great value. Goes without saying I am thrilled with the results!! I never felt compelled to review any company "good or bad", but my experience with Lou Marciano and Deck Designs was so positive, plus the exceptional craftmenship, I wanted to share it with other Angie list Memebers. Do yourself a favor and include Deck Designs when considering making any type of home improvement, you will not be sorry.
