We couldn't be happier with our new vinyl tile flooring! Karen patiently worked with us in selecting the product and the pattern/style. She even stopped by our house to advise and answer questions and as a result, we feel that we were able to make a wise choice. (In addition, Karen stopped by a second time when installation was nearly complete.) The installers were competent and knowledgeable and completed the job on time. We will definitely work with Messner in the future!

We are very pleased with the carpeting that Messner installed. The installers were pleasant also.

It went very well. Their representative showed up when scheduled. However, he said they could stretch the carpet but more tan likely chance that the carpet would be damaged in the process due to the age (15 years old) and wear on the carpet. He recommended just living with it until the carpet was replaced in the next couple of years

The sales staff was very helpful with my questions about different levels of quality, value, and durability. The measurement and installation were done on time and with little mess, When the installer discovered that one piece had been cut incorrectly, he was very apologetic, and made sure that the correct piece was ordered, arrived, and installed on a very timely basis. I have had several home improvement projects done in the last three years, and this one was by far one of the easiest and most efficient.

The installers were extremely professional and knowledgeable about the project. The results were even more than our expectations. Highly recommend Messner flooring and carpet.

Have used Messner twice in the last 18 months for two different jobs; very satisfied both times. First, had kitchen floor tiling installed during a remodel (remodeler did not handle tiling). Second, had stairs and hallway carpeting installed. Both times Messner offered a wide range of high quality products, lots of great advice, and excellent customer service. The work was performed on time and professionally. The product quality has been excellent. Pricing reflects the superior products and service, but is well worth the job well done. I have already recommended Messner to others.

Amazing service from start to finish. Jessica at the Pittsford location was so helpful during our process of choosing carpet and scheduling installation. Dave and Adrianna came out to install the carpet during the massive snowstorm in March 2017. They were there on time every day and they were happy and pleasant - even with 2 feet of snow in our driveway! We love our carpet and would highly recommend Messner's to anyone in need of beautiful carpet.

Very well. Working with the personnel at Messner's was delightful. They were courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We would definitely use Messner's again for any further flooring needs.

I am not a flooring expert which is why I hire professionals. Unfortunately, Messner's did not deliver as expected. Everything that had to do with picking the tile was great. It was after we agreed to purchase that things started to go downhill. I know this review may seem shocking after all the wonderful reviews but buyer beware. First, the contract stated that they would level part of the floor, as the gentleman who came to assess the job told us would be necessary. Again, I am not a flooring professional so when I am told the floor needs to be leveled, and I am shown exactly why, I trust the people I hire. The contract also specifically stated what our contractor was to do - which he did. In addition, the contractor had opened the ceiling in the basement for a variety of other reasons with regards to our kitchen remodeling. When Messner's came for the final walk through before the job started, they could have easily utilized the open ceiling for the leveling. The day the job was to start, Messner's couldn't begin because there was no subfloor installed. They needed the contractor to do this. Why couldn't a FLOORING company do this is beyond me ... in addition, this was not in the list of things our contractor needed to do. Our contractor, needing to stay as close to schedule as possible due to Messner's fail, put in the subfloor, also baffled by the ineptitude of the company. Then Messner's installed the new floor, without actually leveling it - which was, again, in the contract. The installers seemed to know nothing about this line item - which was clearly stated on the contract. Later, the owner, Greg told my husband that the line items "is out of our scope of work." I am sorry. WHAT? Again, you are a FLOORING company AND it's a line item in YOUR contract. The right hand doesn't talk to the left hand and it's just absolutely unacceptable. While the floor looks terrific, it's not installed properly. Messner's violated their OWN contact and the floor is not level. While Greg made an attempt to make it right, it was just too little too late. We were happy to pay for the line item for the job to be done correctly, the first time. For our troubles we were offered a small discount on the total cost and 50% off any area rug from their store. Oh goody, so I get to give you more business for MY troubles and YOUR mistake? No thanks. My husband and I love to support local companies but for this ridiculous, and preventable, massive customer service and installation fail, we highly advise looking elsewhere for your flooring needs.

The sales rep showed me samples of carpeting they had in stock. I took a few home to view them in my lighting conditions, and I chose a light gray, that is wearing well and still looks good. They installed it within only a few days, before our furniture was to be delivered and made things much easier. Professional job.

Perfect. Hardwood choice was exceptional and high quality. Service done was done quickly and professionally and of a very high quality and service people very knowledgeable. For instance they framed the area around the fireplace heath so it looked outstanding and laid out the flooring to insure the best possible view of the wood variations. Very very pleased!!!

This was the first time we have installed carpet in our home so were not sure what to expect. Messner's made the whole process very easy and comfortable. The show room staff were great in answering our questions and helping us select a product. They were in touch with us consistently about the product and when it could be installed. The installation crew were friendly, quick, and did excellent work. We will definitely use them again!

They did a nice job..my only issue is their pricing. These people are highway robbers. They have a pricing scheme where the cost per sq. foot includes the installation which seems convenient except when they come to measure your space. They will say they need to order a lot more extra carpet than you expect since it only comes 12 feet wide. Why should I have to pay an embedded installation fee on extra carpet that I won't need? I was a new home owner and didnt know any better, but won't be coming back

Work was done on time and as promised. We were able to keep flooring samples and return them when finished. Not all stores are this flexible. Pricing was fair and competitive. Very experienced personnel, and communicated quite well. This is a professional operation, and not a chain.

They were excellent and work with us through each step of the process. The installed carpet is tight and looks great!

I would use them in the future. They were good. They did a good job that I expected. I think their prices are a little bit high but I think you get what you're paid for. The workers were good.

Very good prices. I compared pricing with Home Depot (which seemed like a good deal, but the cost was hidden in the padding which was 3x's as much as at Messner's). Add to that the expertise of the staff at Messner's, and it was an easy choice. The sales staff knew just what I was looking for and steered me in the right direction. I avoided getting a carpet that was too dark for the space with their guidance. The installation people arrived on time, were very courteous and professional, and did an amazing job. The difference between what was here before and the work they did was night and day. Every corner and seam is crafted so well. We've just decided to add a runner to the stairway... We are very impressed.

Shopping was a great experience at Messner, especially when we showed up a few minutes after closing one time and were let in to get some samples to take home. Just always felt great coming out of their store and decided to go with them despite being a little more expensive than most others. It was worth it though as their service was excellent and the installation went very well, on time, and very polite and professional at every step.

Messner's (Jessica) helped me choose new flooring for my home, allowing me to take samples for long periods of time in order to match with new window treatments and paint. Measurements were taken fastidiiously by Al, another very professional person. The father and son who installed my new floor were great! They moved heavy pieces out for me and were absolutely meticulous in their work. The floor looks absolutely phenomenal and the installers took great pains with and great pride in their work. I couldn't be happier. They changed the entire look of my home. They worked straight through from 7:45 in the morning until around 3:00 or so in the afternoon and never took a break. I could not have asked for more.

Messner's was outstanding in every way. They were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They honored price matching and gave us a great price. They surpassed our expectations in every way. The new floor is beautiful.

I went into the shop and looked at samples with the aid of a helpful and friendly store clerk, then made an appointment for measurements and took some samples home. The serviceman came out on time, made the measurements and gave me a quote on the spot. The job was scheduled within a few weeks (it could have been done earlier except for my conflicts) and completed in less than 3 hours, including removal of the old carpet and padding, which was rolled and bagged ready for trash pickup. The installer was prompt, efficient and professional, cleaned up after the job and was very personable. There was one piece which had been cut incorrectly and had to be re-ordered-- this took only a couple of weeks, and the installer was able to make the fix in less than half an hour.

He did a pretty good job - it was a tricky situation to fix.
