Description of Work: Checked electric lines to lamppost and found no problems. Removed lamp fixture , added mechanism to convert and accommodate LED lighting. Installed new fixture. Their responsiveness was very good for my small job, and very professional. We also discussed a few options for additional lighting and their recommendations were very upfront and honest. I would definitely recommend Canaltown.

Description of Work: They arrived on time, installed a bathroom fan but not the duct work to the outside as they said that they were not carpenters. I had to install the duct work to the outside and in doing so I noticed that they knocked apart some duct work in my attic. They never informed me of this and did not fix it. After two emails to the company I finally got a response and they came by and finally repaired the attic duct. I have used them in the past but I will be looking for a new electrician as they were a bit pricy this time.

Description of Work: Excellent service. Scheduled the appointment very quickly, called on that day before they came, arrived on schedule. I gave them a list of 6 items and all were completed. Several required searching within the house and around the house to determine the cause of the electrical fault. I give the technician A++ in experience, thoroughness and professionalism. Description of Work: Upgraded electric in our house

Description of Work: I woke up to partial electric in my house this morning and called Canal Town Electric to see about them coming to troubleshoot and fix. The gentleman I spoke to told me that having partial power was much more likely to be the electric company's issue than one inside the house. I called the electric company and they have identified the problem and are in the process of fixing it now. I REALLY appreciate the free advice and information the gentleman at Canal Town offered. Not only did I stop worrying about my house burning down because of some crazy electrical fault but I was able to find the correct way to get back to full power without stress. I will definitely call these folks when it's a real issue and recommend them !

Description of Work: I had my old breaker box replaced and a new outlet run to my work bench. The work was done as I expected, very professional and caring for my needs. Corrected minor breaker box configuration issues and assisted to identify the circuits. I have used these guy three other times before for other electrical needs and they always deliver an excellent result. I do recommend them to friends

Description of Work: Recessed lighting and outlets were wired in a one room addition. Incandescent light fixtures were converted to florescent units.

Description of Work: I had ceiling boxes installed and wired to switches for use with ceiling fans in two bedrooms were there was none. They needed to run wiring in the attic and finish the work before I had insulation added to the attic.
