Basement Builders of NY

Tried to contact provider using website and received no response in almost 2 weeks.

Dave came to consult on potential future finishing of the basement. We discussed what would be needed for preparation of the walls and floors. He was very thorough in his explanations and patient in answering questions and concerns. He was very professional and personable. I would certainly use this company in the future.

Everything went better than expected, and the company did a great job. The quality of the work was outstanding, they stayed on schedule from start to finish, and the owner was very hands-on and proactive. Furthermore, the entire crew was friendly and did its best to be unobtrusive which we appreciated.

Dave and his team completed an extensive basement remodel project for us and transformed our basement into an inviting place for our whole family to enjoy. We have had a number of individuals do work for us over the years, and Dave is by far the most outstanding we have had the privilege of working with. His attention to detail is incredible and his work shows that. As a stay at home mom with four young children, I was concerned about having workers in the house, in terms of privacy, security, and how it might disrupt our routine. However, I can honestly say that it was an absolute pleasure – so much so that we have already had Dave back to talk about future projects. His crew is polite, professional, and went out of their way not to disturb us (even entering and exiting through our basement egress window rather than on the main level). We had no concerns whatsoever. We would highly recommend Basement Builders!

They do a high quality job. However, the owner is over booked and is over busy. They took a long time to finish. They estimated 6 weeks and it ended up being 12 weeks. That was the only drawback. We chose them for their high quality work.

It was a 3 month project and they finished in July. It was a large ticket item and a capital expense. They did an excellent job. The only problem was that the job was behind and was not finished when it was supposed to be finished. It took a lot longer than what was expected or planned but they did an outstanding job.
