+ -1 moreProvider asked for $1,000.00 up front. Because provider was my friend I gave him a check for $1,000.00, which he promptly cashed. I was supposed to move my gardens back far enough to accommodate the deck and when ready he was supposed to bring crew over to do work. I have been ready for work to be done since May, 2013. As of September 20th, he has made no effort to fulfill his end of the bargain. At this point I do not want him to do any work for me because I no longer have confidence in his ability to produce timely quality work efficiently. I strongly recommend going elsewhere for your contracting needs.
Description of Work: I needed a small deck built (4x6 - 6x8), a threshold replaced and a storm door trued up. Provider was supposed to stain proposed deck and existing deck to match. Agreed upon cost was $1,000.00.

+ -1 moreAll the work has been done professionally and at a reasonable cost. The men are careful not to create unnecessary mess and clean up after the work is completed. When there was a problem after the work was completed, they returned and corrected it. - I would recommend the company (David MacIntyre, President) for all general contracting work.
Description of Work: Back steps were replaced and screen door repaired. - This company has replaced the roof, installed a new furnace, repaired damage caused by a dishwasher leak and a number of other repairs or installations.
