We have been working with Danny Riemer for two weeks. His knowledge is matched only by his communication skills. A+ for listening, and communicating with us and with his team. We are impressed that they are keeping their positive attitude while working in very cold conditions. Looking forward to the next phase of the project.

Fantastic experience. Dan was thorough, honest and fair. He is a great problem solver and will deliver in all aspects. The work is great. Our project had a couple of different type of things (wood deck, stone patio, fireplace, etc) and we are very happy with each aspect. I would highly recommend.

Dan and Alec were fantastic. They were professional and communicative every step of the way. The deck was finished about a month ago and we have gotten a ton of use out of it since then. It's a beautiful addition to the home where the old one was an eyesore. We would be happy to work with them again on future projects.

I got several quotes to replace the deck on my house. The owner of the company was extremely responsive, the value was amazing, and the quality of the build was better than Iâ ve ever seen on any deck. I would absolutely use this contractor not only for decks, but for other projects as well.

Daniel contacted me immediately after I submitted a request online to fix a flooding issue we had in our garage. He was over at our place within an hour and assessed the problem and gave a fair estimate within a few hours. His team was extremely professional and our garage looks great after the work that was done. He was extremely responsive to both text and emails throughout the process. I am thrilled with Dan Riemer. He did a fabulous job on a few big stone projects I had. Stone foundation, walkways, 2 outdoor stone patios, concrete floors in two buildings and more. His pricing was very reasonable and his reliability was key and on point. Always here, plus I always knew what time. After searching high and low, I decided to go with him. He was very easy to work with. Smoothest contractor experience Iâ ve ever encountered. All the jobs were finished in a timely manner as well. He had his work cut out for him as I had sadly hired another contractor before knowing Dan existed, and it was just a mess. Being I am not a contractor I was not sure where Dan would even start. Looking at everything confused me and I figured well if it confused me it is got to confused Dan but that was not the case. I cannot thank him enough for everything that he is done for me, he is definitely high-quality and top-notch.

This was our fourth time using them and by far the largest project. From planning to execution they outperformed my expectations once again.

Cannot say enough good things about Dan Riemer and Co. High quality work delivered on time and on budget. Our project was an old home renovation that needed a ton of structural work, including leveling floors. Naturally, there were surprises that come with the territory of old home renovations, but Dan was straight about the work that was needed to fix the problem. We got weekly pictures and videos so we could see the progress (which was fun). We would 100% hire him again and recommend him for any complex project.

In the planning phase very quick response and fair pricing

The porch with the roof was beyond my expectations, very very pleased, lots of compliments on the roof which I went with a metal one for a puppy porch.

Do not use him. Awful work. Awful person. Everything seemed fine in the beginning. He came to give us a quote which he got to us the same day. I had slight doubts because all the good contractors are so busy right now and Danny did not seem so. He was eager to get started on our project. My husband and I both got along with Danny and the quote came in low (never go with the low quote, youâ ll pay in the end). Danny told us it was him and his boys who did everything, but that was far from true. Our project started out with the master bath. He had subcontracted out the work. I got to meet the guys after a couple days of them working on our house. I would have never hired these guys, but I tried to keep my doubts aside. We had Danny come out a couple weeks later. He was extremely hands off on the project and we had concerns. Progress was painfully slow, the subcontractors were lazy, sloppy, and never punctual. Danny assured us he would talk to them. We should have ended it then, but it was so hard to find a good contractor;they were all so booked up and our bathroom was torn apart. Things continued to progressively get worse. We were told the bathroom was going to be a couple weeks, but it ended up being over 7 weeks. These guys had no idea what they were doing. We were left with tile floor thatâ s popping up and needs to be completely redone, scratches on our vanity, a shower door that had to be re-installed, crooked fixtures, electric that had to be re-done because the lights wouldnâ t turn off, overall sloppy work, and many things that werenâ t done how we wanted them. The bathroom project was a NIGHTMARE, but for some reason I thought when Danny came to do the rest of the work things would be so much better(I was wrong). Danny and his boys worked FAST. It was a night and day difference from the lazy subcontractors. The problem was they were fast AND sloppy and they did things as cheaply as possible, and so fast that they didnâ t stop to ask you how you wanted something done. The big issue came when they were doing the stairs. They did them without asking us any questions and they did them so fast that we couldnâ t stop them until they were so far into doing it wrong. When I mentioned to Danny that the stairs didnâ t match the picture I sent him when he was giving the quote, he started getting nasty with us. He quit, but said he would finish the items that were started. We never saw him again. We were left with a partially renovated house and a long way to go to get everything done. Do not go with Danny. Heâ s a nightmare.

Unfortunately, I cannot write a positive review about Riemers work and behaviors. Overall, the experience working with them could be worthy of a show named renovation from hell. I hired Dan Riemer for a medium size project that included: creating a laundry room, adding a bathroom, removing a cumbersome circular staircase to create a comfortable stairwell as well as demolishing an old deck to build a new one. Dan took the project pledging that it would take 2-3 months and committing to have 2 working teams on the project. It went well for the initial 2 months, while demolition and hard construction just started. After this, it just became a nightmare. They did not show up for weeks at a time and construction got delayed beyond imagination. False promises were made over and over about the work being completed, but nothing got accomplished. After 6 months and hard construction not being completed on a single item of the project, I decided to terminate this madness. Obviously, I requested to get some money back for the work that was paid and not executed They are now just ignoring any attempt to communicate, and I have not seen a single $ back. The construction is of mediocre quality. I highly recommend you stay away from Riemer construction and would be happy to give details to anyone seeking more information on this review.
