In the planning phase very quick response and fair pricing

The porch with the roof was beyond my expectations, very very pleased, lots of compliments on the roof which I went with a metal one for a puppy porch.

Do not use him. Awful work. Awful person. Everything seemed fine in the beginning. He came to give us a quote which he got to us the same day. I had slight doubts because all the good contractors are so busy right now and Danny did not seem so. He was eager to get started on our project. My husband and I both got along with Danny and the quote came in low (never go with the low quote, youâ ll pay in the end). Danny told us it was him and his boys who did everything, but that was far from true. Our project started out with the master bath. He had subcontracted out the work. I got to meet the guys after a couple days of them working on our house. I would have never hired these guys, but I tried to keep my doubts aside. We had Danny come out a couple weeks later. He was extremely hands off on the project and we had concerns. Progress was painfully slow, the subcontractors were lazy, sloppy, and never punctual. Danny assured us he would talk to them. We should have ended it then, but it was so hard to find a good contractor;they were all so booked up and our bathroom was torn apart. Things continued to progressively get worse. We were told the bathroom was going to be a couple weeks, but it ended up being over 7 weeks. These guys had no idea what they were doing. We were left with tile floor thatâ s popping up and needs to be completely redone, scratches on our vanity, a shower door that had to be re-installed, crooked fixtures, electric that had to be re-done because the lights wouldnâ t turn off, overall sloppy work, and many things that werenâ t done how we wanted them. The bathroom project was a NIGHTMARE, but for some reason I thought when Danny came to do the rest of the work things would be so much better(I was wrong). Danny and his boys worked FAST. It was a night and day difference from the lazy subcontractors. The problem was they were fast AND sloppy and they did things as cheaply as possible, and so fast that they didnâ t stop to ask you how you wanted something done. The big issue came when they were doing the stairs. They did them without asking us any questions and they did them so fast that we couldnâ t stop them until they were so far into doing it wrong. When I mentioned to Danny that the stairs didnâ t match the picture I sent him when he was giving the quote, he started getting nasty with us. He quit, but said he would finish the items that were started. We never saw him again. We were left with a partially renovated house and a long way to go to get everything done. Do not go with Danny. Heâ s a nightmare.

Unfortunately, I cannot write a positive review about Riemers work and behaviors. Overall, the experience working with them could be worthy of a show named renovation from hell. I hired Dan Riemer for a medium size project that included: creating a laundry room, adding a bathroom, removing a cumbersome circular staircase to create a comfortable stairwell as well as demolishing an old deck to build a new one. Dan took the project pledging that it would take 2-3 months and committing to have 2 working teams on the project. It went well for the initial 2 months, while demolition and hard construction just started. After this, it just became a nightmare. They did not show up for weeks at a time and construction got delayed beyond imagination. False promises were made over and over about the work being completed, but nothing got accomplished. After 6 months and hard construction not being completed on a single item of the project, I decided to terminate this madness. Obviously, I requested to get some money back for the work that was paid and not executed They are now just ignoring any attempt to communicate, and I have not seen a single $ back. The construction is of mediocre quality. I highly recommend you stay away from Riemer construction and would be happy to give details to anyone seeking more information on this review.

Great guys who showed up when they said they would and built me the room I asked for, fair prices and nice all around crew

Dan and sons came right at the beginning of the pandemic. We were knocking down walls and doing a new kitchen, tile floors and backsplash. It was a difficult job with our old home. The construction they did was awesome. Dan came up with ideas to help with my vision and they are perfect. We had a gathering recently and people could not stop talking about how beautiful our home is. Now the reason not all 5's is I am a very fussy person about little details. That is why I did not give all 5's. Felt they rushed a bit to finish. To be honest I don't blame them, I was overwhelmed and snippy at the end. They did the very best they could do in the circumstance. I may have left a bad review at one time, but to be honest it wasn't fair. As I look at my home now it brings me nothing but joy. I hired these guys to build a 400 sq. Ft deck and it came out immaculate. They had great attention to detail and gave me fair pricing for all of their work. The porch was done within a week. Thank you Dan. Will definitely use them in the future!

Danny was great to work with and really knowledgeable. Made some good recommendations on things I otherwise would have been in the dark on. Kitchen came out modern and clean.

Danny saw our vision and knew immediately how to build the living space above our garage. He and his sons worked efficiently. Danny was easy to communicate with, and he and his sons were always very considerate. The work was finished when they said it would be. We are thrilled with the job.

Dan was great. He was true to his word and finished our deck in a timely manner. We love our new deck! We would hire him again for other projects.

just the electrical outlet under deck needs a cover, so water doesn't get into it.

I placed a deposit with Riemer for some construction work. Unfortunately, the project got delayed. No problem there. It was situational and NOT Reimers fault. However, when the project was started up again, Reimer was unavailable - also, no problem. The timing and situation changed, through no fault on Reimers part. However, when I requested the deposit back, he didnt have it. Subsequently, I offered other work to him and his crew. Some work was done, but they never got the job fully done (missed days, partial days worked, etc.). Also, the quality of the work was average, at best. This too, I could live with, if I got the balance of my deposit back. I havent. We signed an agreement where he promised to pay back the money over time. Two payments were made, but the last one was received about a year ago. Nothing has been paid since and it seems that it never will be. I recommend that you not do business with this company.

We highly recommend Riemer Contracting. Danny and his sons fixed our damaged deck and repaired a leak into our home. The job specs were clearly described upfront, and they completed the project on schedule. It couldn't have gone any easier. Danny is a pleasure to work with. He answered all of our questions and kept us updated on his progress. We are extremely happy with the end result -- and are now enjoying our new deck!

The kitchen remodeling was only one of several things I have had them do. Over the years they have put a new roof on my house, done siding, completely refurbished an outside front porch with flooring, installed windows and many other incidentals. Mr. Riemer is reliable, professional, knowledgeable and knows his business. He is also makes well thought out recommendations if youâ re not sure exactly what you want. I highly recommend him and look forward to him doing more work for me in the future.

Provided fast, excellent service. I had an emergency: my heat thermostat stopped working causing the hot water line pipes to burst, repair man was spot on finding location for all frozen pipes and repaired all very quickly and professionally. Replacement for the old copper pipes is now a material that can expand if pipes freeze in the future. Service person cleaned and carry out all trash. Owner contacted prior to service person leaving to confirm job was done satisfactory. Contacted me a couple days later to confirm repairs were still satisfactory. Will absolutely use this company in the future and highly recommend to you..
