 + -1 moreHe sanded the whole floor and refinished it but left runs, blemishes, and impurities in the high gloss finish. He then re-sanded the surface and refinished it again, but now the high gloss polyurethane finish is cloudy. In addition, there was polyurethane floor finish slopped all over our doors and one cabinet. At that point he would not return our calls. We sent a letter to his address and he did not answer. Swarthout knew he screwed up and just walked away. We spent over a week eating out every night and day because we had no kitchen or hallway that we could use as it was constantly under repair or rework. Complete disaster
Description of Work: Original (15 year old) oak hardwood floor in our kitchen and hallway needed to be refinished. We had two dogs that left surface scratches all over it.Swarthout was hired to restore the finish.

 + -1 moreIt was an old home and it ended up being softwood, so I believe if it was hardwood they would've turned out perfect. They are beautiful and we are very happy. Duane is a very personable guy, responded quickly to our out of the way location and worked us in to accomodate our tight schedule. Their pricing and professionalism far out weighed the regularly recommended company in our area.
Description of Work: We had 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, hallway and stairs refinished (sanded & polyeurethaned).
