Regan & Son Power Washing

A wall in our bedroom required repair due to water damage from ice in the winter. We contracted with to perform the repair and paint the bedroom (Total bid $600). In addition, we agreed that they would paint the attached bathroom, as well as do minor roof repairs. The first part of the project went well with the worker arriving on the appointed date, starting the repairs, and agreeing to return the next week. At that time, we paid him $300. He returned the following week and worked two full days on the repairs, painting and roof repairs. At the end of the 2nd day, we paid him an additional $700 that represented the new cost of the full project. He said that he would return the following week to finish. My wife and I stuck post-its on the areas that needed more work - basically all the areas needed a second coat of paint. Aso, there was paint on the windows, paint on our harwood floor, paint on the toilet, and the door and window hardware. He stopped by once after we paid him, saw the post-its, and has not returned since that time (about a month). We had several appts with him that he never kept. My wife and I decided to finish the bedroom and most like will do the same in the bathroom. We may end up replacing hardware instead of trying to clean it. We should have held back 1/3 of the final cost until the job was done to our satisfaction.
