+ -1 moreThe following shows the honesty and integrity of this company and it's owner. I waited till my son was home on Easter Break to remove the pick up bed. I waited for my son to be home because I am a disabled Vet. ( 100% ) and could not attempt this project by myself upon bed removal we discovered that the truck chassis was cracked in 5 places and covered with rust. 2 cracks had been welded and painted over to hide them. The rear cross member was rusted through and missing one gusset reinforcing plate as well holes in the metal. This vehicle has not been registered nor has it ever left my property , with all the rust and cracks it would not pass a NY State inspection or be legal to operate on any roads in N.Y. or any other state. explained this to William Nicholson on the phone and he promised he would call me back. No call was returned and no other attempts to contact him were successful. Both my son and I believe that we were SCAMED by this company and it's owner.
Description of Work: I answered an add on Craig's List for a 1988 GMC pick up with a 1995 bed this company had for sale. After a vehicle test drive and being informed that the truck had just passed a NY State inspection , a good selling point as pointed out by William Nicholson co. owner. I paid $1800 for the tuck which he delivered to my home. My intention was to remove the pick up bed and replace it with a flatbed body to make it a work truck for my son .
