It went great. Cheryl helped us select new furniture, art work and area rug to bring our living room up to date. We wanted a modern, streamlined look--she nailed it. She listened to what we liked and she asked a lot of questions to make sure she got our style right. She gave us her contacts at various furniture stores so we could go to the store and work directly with them. They were all very courteous and helpful. She let them know ahead what we were looking for and the price range we wanted to stay in. She did a fantastic job--our living room looks incredible. She offered tips for our bedroom to make it look more streamlined and picked out throw pillows that work great with our existing bedding. She was very conscientious of our budget which was greatly appreciated. She was fun to work with and very friendly. She wasn't pushy and made sure we were comfortable with each step of the process. We loved working with her and will definitely be calling for her services again.

Our family room has an unusual layout and has challenged multiple designers in the past, but when Cheryl looked at the space, she immediately knew how to orient the room for optimum balance and flow. In addition to being a stellar designer, Cheryl brings wonderful energy into your home. She’s bubbly and upbeat, but honest and entirely genuine. Her passion for her work is both obvious and contagious. We are absolutely thrilled with the final results, as well as with the designer who delivered them!

Cheryl, always the consummate professional, was prompt, thorough and organized. She strived to accommodate all of our needs and desires into the project. She obtained bids from the various contractors and worked tirelessly to assure that each would complete his work in a timely, efficient and precise manner. She understood the need to maximize value without sacrificing quality. Above all, Cheryl is always positive, upbeat and cheerful. She is a pleasure with whom to work and our kitchen/family room area is absolutely beautiful!

I have a very small house, and a small budget. Cheryl was incredibly sensitive to my needs and listened to my list of wants. She brought me the choices she recommended with the prices, and was very honest about my budget. I always was the decision maker! Other than my sofa, I replaced everything. I did hire a painter, which cost a bit more but saved me the hassle. I bought the paint and had picked the color on my own. Cheryl liked it as well and worked with my choice. She also looked at the adjoining rooms, with their colors and opportunities. Cheryl does an excellent job, and passed her discount on to me whenever possible. I will definitely work with her again!

With just one in-person consultation and some emails, Cheryl gave my partner and me everything we needed to begin transforming a hated space into a comfortable and inviting room. In fact, just one suggestion about furniture arrangement helped us see the room in a new and positive way. Cheryl sent us a comprehensive questionnaire to complete prior to her visit, enabling us all to make the most of her time in our home. She organized the visit around our objectives, listened carefully, and skillfully navigated a few areas where my partner and I were, shall we say, not on the same page with each other! She followed up by sending us a to-do list to keep us motivated along with referrals to local service providers and local and online product sources. Cheryl then checked to make sure that we were completely satisfied with her services before she sent her invoice. Not only did she provide all that we asked for, she got us “unstuck” and even excited about the work ahead of us. Hiring Cheryl proved to be an excellent investment of our time and money.

This is the second time we've used Cheryl. She listens, provides options, explains the logic of her choices but lets the customer make the final decisions.

I found Cheryl after doing a lot of research on line. My husband and I were in a time crunch to get our nursery done before our baby's due date. We also had just recently moved into a new home and the room we needed to remodel needed a full makeover. Prior to our move, the room was decorated for a toddler boy and we were designing a room for a baby girl with my plan of a "modern + glam + rustic" design. I believe the concept was complicated as the style of the home was dated and we did not have the funds to completely re-do everything in the rest of the house. We needed the nursery makeover to be updated and still match all the other rooms. The biggest task I believe Cheryl had was figuring out our flooring. We needed to replace carpet with hardwoods. We loved the idea of gray (modern feel) but needed to match lighter wood tones as well. My husband and I did hours of our own research prior to hiring Cheryl and we were still lost! Well, Cheryl nailed it! We absolutely love the hardwoods she chose and hope to put them in other rooms of the house at some point. From there, Cheryl worked tirelessly to make sure our nursery was how we wanted it and on time and she delivered. I enjoyed Cheryl's approach to the design with giving a few options for us to choose from at each step of the way. She was also understanding from a financial point of view and always searched for cheaper options as well. I was thoroughly impressed with the artwork that she chose for the room as it was probably not something I would have picked myself and honestly questioned how it would all look together at the end but it all worked out beautifully and I am so glad we trusted her design instinct! Another focal point of the room was a chandelier. This is another item I searched for several hours on my own before hiring Cheryl and felt overwhelmed by all the choices. Cheryl was able to pick the perfect chandelier and we absolutely love it! we are planning on hiring Cheryl again for other rooms in our house, I would highly recommend her.

After a year of searching for someone who would meet our requirements for cost value, Cheryl was able to quickly establish a game plan and assemble the required resources that met our requirements. Her skill set to project manage was excellent. She listens to customer requirements and is able to convert those requirements into supplier specs. Contractors provided were high quality and experts in their fields. Our update process included new countertops, removal of drop ceiling, new lighting, crown molding, wallpaper, and window treatments. Cheryl provided suggestions and options on the decorating to insure the customer was always in control of the end result. Five other quality kitchen contractors in town were more interested in the revenue gained from the project vs customer requirements. Cheryl's focus is the customer. After a year of searching, it appears this is a rarity in the kitchen updating business. We are very pleased with the workmanship, timing, and results of the end product.. Given the kitchen improvement market, the price/ value relationship was also met.

We contacted Cheryl to help us transform the first floor of our home after seeing the work she had done for other people that we know. We were impressed with those results. We wanted a large dining space, additional seating and entertaining areas to accommodate family and friends using our current footprint while updating the style of our furnishings. What she gave us was a vision we did not realize we had and beyond what we had ever imagined! Cheryl did a great job of getting to know and understand us and what we were looking for. She asked us to complete a detailed questionnaire indicating our likes and dislikes with regards to colors, fabrics, style, what we wanted to replace and/or keep, etc. She then used that information to research her many sources for furniture, cabinetry, lighting, flooring, and decor to create a design plan that incorporated our ideas and preferences. Throughout the entire process Cheryl served as the "project manager." She arranged for high quality contractors that she has worked with frequently and knew well. They were very professional and knowledgeable regarding their trade. Cheryl scheduled this work in the most time-efficient way so that the inconvenience to us was minimal. She made sure that the proper items were ordered and delivered on time and was at the house when the work was being done. Cheryl has a wonderful eye for design and quality and the items she chose reflect that. Everything works together to create a beautiful environment. She is very detail oriented and makes sure all the "i"s are dotted and the "t"s are crossed. The completed project has given us more than we ever expected. The space is much more functional and provides more usable living area. This was an unexpected bonus for us. Cheryl created a beautiful new space for us and was fun to work with. She became a friend in the process! We could not be more pleased with our new space and would highly recommend Cheryl to anyone contemplating a redecorating project.

Cheryl began by meeting with me in my home to gain an understanding of the spaces I wanted help with. She also took the time to get to know me, my tastes/style and my wants and needs by asking thoughtful and insightful questions. We also discussed my budget. Cheryl was extremely helpful in pointing out or suggesting opportunities for me to save costs without sacrificing quality or design vision. I really appreciated this given my lack of experience. Every step of the way I felt that she was looking out for my best interests as she helped me though every step of the process including initial design, selecting items, dealing with retailers and final installation and placement. When everything was finished I realized that Cheryl had understood what I wanted far better than I was ever able to describe it. My home is now a beautiful, comfortable and functional space my children and I enjoy very much. Cheryl is a very gifted designer, absolutely professional and one of the most warm and caring people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I would gladly recommend Cheryl to anyone.

We love our new new. It is bright and comforting. My children love our new sofa, ottoman, and chairs. We have an organized space for all their items. The new artwork on the walls is so peaceful and I love to sit in their and look at it. Cheryl came and help organize the room and hung up the artwork and photographs. It is a totally new look which is great. Cheryl also took the time to reorder some sofa pillows that she didn't think were of good quality. I didn't even notice because everything was so nice but she wanted to make it extra special.

Excellent. Cheryl was very personable, and really wanted to understand what's important to us. She developed a complete design, including all new furniture, window treatments and art. She was always on-time, well prepared, easy to work with, and quickly gained our trust. She has many established relationships with vendors (paint, carpet, furniture), and through this it was obvious that she is well respected in her field. We should also note that Cheryl is a stickler for detail - she would think of everything. Our project was just completed on 10/14/16, and it looks and feels great. If we could, we'd rate her an A++ for Professionalism!

Cheryl gave me great feedback on my ideas and added many of her own - she had many practical suggestions for the utilization of the space in my basement. Cheryl was friendly and direct and gave me her undivided attention. She also told me to contact her for any further information I would need and for recommendations for service providers. I got some ideas from her that I wouldn't have thought of on my own and I'd definitely recommend her!

It went very well. As we did not want to do the entire house all at once, Cheryl's plan afforded us the luxury of addressing our project room by room over time. Her esthetic sense was superb matched only by her organizational skills. Furthermore, she was very responsive to questions and concerns. She really makes a point of understanding the tastes of the homeowner and provides a truly organic plan which enables the rooms and space to complement one another. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely use her again.

Wonderful!! My first intention was to just get some needed advice about colors, light fixtures, paint and new decor. But when Cheryl actually came to my home we talked about much more and I was so excited about doing the little changes she suggested. I was worried about hiring a professional interior designer, thinking that I needed to commit to a large project that would be costly, but I was pleasantly surprised at how willing Cheryl was to help me out with some much needed small projects. Because I trusted her opinion, I did end up having her pick out carpet for me for my entryway, which saved me tons of time! Cheryl also offered many suggestions about other electricians, online stores to buy from and places to get discounts. I highly recommend having her come to your home! I have done a few little changes, thanks to her and they have made a world of difference!!!

Cheryl went room by room and really got a feel for what we wanted and needed. She was spot on in every area. The biggest project was to renovate our master bathroom. From design to project manager, she did it all masterfully.. Cheryl is so organized, efficient, perfect in all aspects of interior design and decorating. Amazing and she involves her clients fully in every decision. Cheryl will be working with us for a long time.

Cheryl was very nice. She helped and organize and down size a lot of the boxes from the move. They worked very quickly (I would have preferred to move a little more slowly.) Cheryl and I also did some interior decorating, and I myself am pretty experienced with color and decoration from work in the theater, and think I got a little convinced that what I wanted wasn't what she thought would look right. I had some difficulties ordering some furniture, and I think Cheryl was just put in a lousy situation. They didn't do anything wrong, the whole situation just didn't go as anticipated. She did what she could with the furniture company.

She was great. Very personable. Great ideas. LIstened to me, answered questions.

With newborn twins, my wife and I decided we needed to remodel, update, and reorganize the first floor of our four bedroom colonial. We were on a limited budget and didn't really know where to turn. My wife and I were kind of looking for someone like the lady on the t.v. show 'Love it or List it' that would come in and take care of everything. We found Cheryl on Angie's List. After our first meeting, where she came over and addressed our concerns, wants and needs, we knew we found the right person. During that first meeting, she took a look around and advised us on what really needed to get done to make our house more efficient, modern and comfortable. She steered us in the right direction to where we would get more 'bang for our buck'. She was very upfront about her hourly cost and she told us that she could do as much or as little we would like. With newborn twins, we needed her to do a lot. In a week or two, after doing lots of research, shopping, and getting input and estimates from her general contractor and painter that she used, she came back with a great layout with several options for us to choose from. We were a little worried at first about what the final end price, including Cheryl's fee, was going to be, but with the amount of money that she saved with smart shopping and bargain hunting, I really believe we couldn't have done it any cheaper ourselves. Cheryl took care of all the coordinating with the contractors. She came over everyday to let them in and to check up on their work. With the contractors that she chose, we had no worries about them working in our house while we weren't there. They did a great job. She also took care of paying them so we didn't have to worry about that part. Everything was completed on-time and within the estimate. The end product looked wonderful and modern. Lots of little touches that made a huge difference. Cheryl made the whole experience as painless as possible. She was a real pleasure to work with.
