Called pand e Landscaping on Monday, 4/29/13, to request a quote to have our lawn mowed. They were very responsive in returning our call at 6:17 pm that evening; in fact they were the first of several lawn services we left messages for and the first to call back. We scheduled an appointment for the following day between 5-7 pm. However, they were in our neighborhood and came much earlier in the day, which was even better. After showing them the property line (we own one half acre of land), they were also very quick to send us an estimate for the work, which is the issue that disappointed us. Their estimate to mow every other week was $60 ($120/month) vs. $45 each week ($180/month). Their rationale was the grass would be higher if mowed every two weeks instead of every week, which we could understand. However, the issue which concerned us was their "Storm Damage Cleanup" which included a $45 per man hour charge if they determined additional maintenance or work was required as a result of inclement weather. They stated their crew consists of 2-3 workers so the total hourly rate would range from $90-$135 per hour, which could, potentially, increase our regular bill each month. After speaking with several other lawn services, they were the only one to mention to us a "Storm Damage Cleanup" charge. If this is not a concern to other potential clients, I would recommend pand e Landscaping based on their professionalism and responsiveness, but not on price.

Rather than just quote me a price, a thorough inspection was done of my property. He spent the time to go over everything that I wanted done, including giving me some good ideas in terms of of what I could do to improve my home's curb appeal. He actually came out during the day while I was at work to eyeball the property and then returned in the evening, in person, to discuss, in depth, what I wanted to have done. I am sure it would have been easier not to spend so much time at my home, but he wanted to ensure that everything was thoroughly discussed and the experience was personable.

I like their promptness and everything is always properly done. They come out weekly. They are always willing to work you with you based on your needs. I have no complaints, they are wonderful. I have a really large lawn and they only charge $45 per week to cut the grass.
