They are the only authorized provider in my region, so they are quite entitled. Difficult to schedule, expensive (I spent over $3k in 5 visits). Most recently they didn’t show up to a scheduled day (at all) and didn’t call me to give the heads up. My next refrigerator won’t be Sub-Zero just so I don’t need to deal with these guys.
Description of Work: This was the 5th time we asked Northeastern to come to our place to fix our Sub-Zero refrigerator. Combination of not bing cold enough and water dispenser leakage.

I have used them twice in the past for leaks and other small issues and they were always professional. They offered very clear explanations and talked over options with me (one option - if you aren't sure you want the work right away - like replacing an ice maker - they have a way of noting it in your file, and if you bring them back out within a certain timeframe to do the work, they don't charge for a service call for the work when they do come). This time, I tried a different company first, because the competitor was able to come out same day. The competitor was unable to resolve my problem. Northeastern provided service at a lower price and with a longer warranty than their competitor. Their service worker knew exactly what he was doing and was not guessing like the competitor. Although I had to wait an extra day for service from them - they originally told me a longer wait than that as I called during a blizzard - they actually moved some things around to help me sooner since my fridge wasn't working at all and I have a young toddler at home. I appreciated the proactive assistance from the schedulers. I won't stray again - this is my Sub-Zero servicer. Period.
Description of Work: The provider replaced a broken thermostat and returned the fridge to working order.

Their prices were expensive but they provided excellent service. They were on-time and quickly repaired the problem. I spoke with them initially on the phone and gave them the serial number so they could come prepared with the possible needed parts.
Description of Work: They repaired our sub zero refrigerator. The needed to replace the evaporator coil.

The shop services high-end appliances (Sub-Zero, Wolf), and it was the only one I could locate that repaired Asko products. My dryer quit, no power at all. Was told upfront that minimum service charge ($79). Repairman came on time, June 23, and spent more than two hours to find the problem -- blown fuse. He was apologetic, my friend says, about taking so long to find a basic problem. He told her that the extra time wouldn't be reflected in the price. He didn't have the part and would have to order it. Paid him minimum, $85.85 with tax. Returned July 1. Took less than a half hour to replace, according to my son, who paid him another $186,60. Total -- $272.45. The bill seemed too high and lacking in detail--parts and labor not separated. I called the shop July 2 to see how much the part was and what the hourly rate was for the service. The woman said they charged by the job not by the hour. How much was the part? She didn't know and told me the service manager, Troy, would call me. He didn't. After the holiday, July 7, I called again. Same woman told me she didn't know how much the part was. She would have Troy call me. He didn't. I said above I'd use the service again. I may have no choice. Two other shops I called told me they didn't service Asko.

Top-notch service. A very nice, diligent, careful and soft-spoken repairman came by. The repair went well, and he even took extra time to make sure the freezer was sparkling before leaving (our freezer had an issue where the copper pipe was leaving blue specs everywhere). I was really impressed with the level of service provided.
