I hired M.M Carpentry & Construction to replace a 95 year old front porch floor (tongue & groove Douglas Fir), remove 2 wall AC's and close up the holes, both inside and out. Miguel was the most diligent of the contractors I called to look at the projects. His estimates are professionally done and well thought out. He and his team are true craftsmen. As expected as Miguel was very communicative about issues that popped up - such as rotted wood that needed to be replaced, and completing odd jobs that was never going to get to. I felt his pricing was fair, and I'm happy with the results. I'd hire Miguel again without hesitation.

From the initial estimate to job completion Miguel was prompt and professional, he does very good work and keeps the work area very clean, communication was very good, we exchanged a few emails and texts and he finished the job in just a few days, I would definitely hire him again

Miguel was hired to recondition and paint two decks around our house. He identified and replaced rotting or unstable boards, and repaired shaky steps. He was proactive in finding the unique paint colors necessary to complete the project. This was a very successful execution for which we are grateful to Miguel for the fine work he did.

Great. Miguel is great: reliable, talented, fair pricing, easy to communicate with, extremely responsive via text, etc. We used him for replacing railings and also exterior trim. I would hire him again and again, and highly recommend him.

We had a deck rail with several rotting portions. Miguel inspected the entire rail, determined which sections needing replacing, and did a terrific job of making the deck structurally sound again. Can't recommend highly enough! Did a terrific job, and on budget and on time!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We hired Miguel to fix our back and front porch and turns out, when your house is 150 years old and the porches are original, that means they need to be completely rebuilt. He tore everything out, reframed it all, and completely rebuilt both our front and partial wraparound back porch. The back porch ended up being a totally custom job because it has so many curves and angles, and he did a beautiful job. Not only is he amazing at what he does, but he’s just a really nice person too. My 3 year old loved watching him work and Miguel was always friendly and would stop what he was doing to talk to my son and explain what he was doing. Overall, I feel so lucky to have found Miguel. Of course you want the work that you’re looking to have done to be good, but Miguel also happens to be a really great person.
