Miguel was prompt ,courteous neat ,very clean and excellent plaster & painter.My ceiling in living room is a pitched 20 foot ceiling very difficult to paint and miguel did a masterful job painting it. I highly reccomend Miguel for any painting job and will definitely hire him again .

Miguel confirmed the night before, as requested, and showed up right on time. He repaired some dry wall damaged by a water leak and left my kitchen as clean as he found it. I will definitely be calling him again and recommend him highly.

I hired Handy Mike to fix a hole in my bathroom ceiling and to paint the ceiling. It was a “small” job that other contractors may not have wanted but it was important to me. Miguel Padrea was my contact and he was on time to assess the job and provide the written estimate that I needed for insurance. He was on time to perform the work and did a great job for a fair price. He was very knowledgeable, polite and respectful. I booked an appointment with Handy Mike through HomeAdvisor and received confirmation from HomeAdvisor that I had a 10am appointment scheduled on Wednesday, 9/26. At 9am on the day of the appointment, I hadn't heard from Handy Mike, so I sent a text to confirm that he was planning on showing up. He then contacted me to let me know he wasn't coming. I had sent a list of the projects when I requested the appointment, so it would be clear what I needed. When he responded to my text the day of the appointment, he indicated that the projects I needed amounted to a half day of work and he only books by a full day. There was nothing in his profile that indicated this, and I was willing to pay good money for a half day of work. Nevertheless, he had an obligation to inform me the day I made the appointment that he didn't take jobs like mine. His only response to that was that he didn't have a secretary. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable and he acted like he was the one who had been unfairly treated. Now I have to start over and I've lost several days because I trusted the professionalism of HomeAdvisor.
