The big deal worked out fine. We did it last year and we did it again this year. We haven't had the ant problem since they left. They did a good job. They came out very shortly after I purchased it in April 1st of this year. They were very prompt, very courteous and very attentive. The main like for this provider was the efficiency, professionalism and that they were thorough. The only thing that we didn't like was that we wanted them to do ticks but they said that ticks were last year’s offer so if we wanted tick treatment then it would be a different deal. We were a little disappointed with that but they did a great job with the ants. There were no additional cost above the 299 dollars for the big deal, it was only if you wanted to do the ticks. They were totally fine. It was a good price, very good price. The quality was good.

This is the 3rd or 4th time i've used this exterminator but the 1st time this year. I called these guys since I had found them on Angie's list last year and the 1st couple of experiences were pretty good so thats why I used them again. This time the customer service and professionalism was AWFUL. It remains to be seen as to the actual treatment It started by me calling the office on Monday and getting a girl who immediately had an attitude over the phone. She gave me no prices during the call and said that the exterminator would need to quote me when he got to my house, which would be between 11-1 on Wednesday (today). I was explicitly clear that he needed to call me 30 minutes before he got to my house so that I could leave my office and make it home for him. At 1:30 I got a call from the exterminator saying that he was already at my house and where was I. He said he had nothing in his notes about calling ahead and when I got home to meet him he he said he had called his office and they had no record nor did the receptionist that I had spoken to on Monday (the receptionist happens to be an owner's daughter). The exterminator then proceeded to try to sell me an annual package at a high cost and fumbled through it until I asked to review something in writing that would explain what he was trying to tell me. He handed me a contract that had blank spots for the prices....(can someone say- sliding scale..?). Then the exterminator said I would need to pay in full since i was a new customer but the reality is that I'm not a new customer. Last year i had been billed for each service that was done and I paid through the bank so have a record of it. So, I decided to call the office and I got my new favorite receptionist again and it sounded like she was having a far worse day today than she was having on Monday. I was surprised when she actually became argumentative with me when I said that I had told her the guy needed to call me 30 minutes beforehand - she adamantly denies that I told her anything of the sort! I then explained to her that I was not a new customer and that I had been billed last year and paid through the mail. She put me on a 5-7 minute hold and then came back to tell me that I could pay half now and half would be billed. At that time I left her father (one of the owners) a voicemail telling him how dissatisfied i was. I retreated to the inside of the house where I needed to get on a work call and I told the exterminator to do the job and let me know what the amount was when he was done. 10 minutes into my work call, there's a knock at the door, my dog is barking, my call is totally thrown off track, and there stands the exterminator (while I'm trying to run a phone call) telling me that now my fabulous receptionist friend is saying that I have to pay in full. What a nightmare of disorganized unprofessionalism!!! Get it together guys!!!

We did use them and they never came back and they were supposed to. They were suppose to come the one time, which they did, and then two more times after that, which they didn't. I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to catch up with them. So I would assume that they would have been here by now. They had to come right away because there were ants everywhere. They never met the contract agreement.

highly recommend garrie pest control. very professional and punctual. after their first trip out to spray for ants, we noticed some ants had come back a week or so later, and when we called the office, they scheduled a follow up visit the next day and came on time, applied more chemicals, and no ants have been seen since. i have ALREADY recommended them to some neighbors facing the same issues. A+ service all the way!

They showed up when they said they would, and did what they said they would....I've already recommended them to a friend.

Great service all around. First the visit for the estimate was smooth and then the actual service appointment was great with the service explained.

From Jean who I communicated with via email to Matt who performed the service, Garrie was efficient, courteous &, knowledgeable. I ended up upgrading to the gold package which added traps for mice, rats etc and an extra service per year.

We only paid him once and instead of getting paid for the year, I’ve had one time and I said no. I’m not paying any service that wasn’t mended. They were supposed to spray I think four times a year. After they came and they did it, they wanted to get paid for the whole thing. I said I’ll pay them per session but that was unagreeable to them. I said that’s fine and I will discontinue. They performed and what they did, they did. It was average but that was it. After that, I wouldn’t deal with them because of their billing process. Price was in line with others. It was just like other exterminators I have had. They said they would come at this date and they came. The guy who came seem to be professional. I would not use them.

So far no complaints.. no bugs

They were very good and responsive at their initial consultation. They were supposed to come back for quarterly visits and that hasn't happened. They were very friendly, I have no complaints whatsoever.

So far they have been extremely professional and nice!

I live in a two family home. The provider stated that the deal is usable for a one family home only. I have now requested a refund from angies list.

They came out and were very nice. I secured them for the year. The price was right so I cancelled my contract with my other provider so now I am using Garrie Pest Control now.

We used their service as part of pre-purchase home inspection. The inspector missed a major potential termite issue as well as absence of termite safeguards. It was an incredibly rushed job and poorly executed. They had just one thing to do and they failed miserably. When I called to complain they rectified the situation by sending a more experienced manager. However, it took time from us and realtor to have to reschedule the process. I specifically asked to speak with a supervisor and was promised a call, but no one ever called me. It left a bitter taste in mouth. I will not consider using them again.

Punctual and professional and very fast. I was sceptical this would work, but was willing to try to get rid of these horrible bugs, while not 100% elimininated, more than 98% eliminated - I have seen around 10 bugs since the service was done in October, versus 10-15 A DAY in previous years. I will do this again next year, for sure.

I have used Garrie a few times for various problems and found them to be very responsive and reasonable. It seemed to make sense to us and our peace of mind to treat the house for termites- even though the house had yet to be effected. We appreciated the honesty of the technician and felt that we made a wise decision for now and the future. We have found this a nice company to deal with the few dealings we have had with them and would feel comfortable recommending them.

Professional, knowledgeable, timely. Fully satisfied and would definitely recommend.

The service provider comes about 4 times a year. I have not seen an insect since they have been coming to my house. Prior to Garrie arriving I have periodically seen ants in an around my house. Their customer service is great, if I have a question or want additional treatment they gladly accomidate my request.

Great work, did more than I contracted them to do, very professional, friendly workers.

The initial inspection visit seemed thorough. I had wasps nest visible along the roof line in a few spots and could hear them buzzing through the walls inside the house. The inspector identified at least 4 problem areas and pointed out a few other pest control issues around my house. I paid for what I thought would be wasp nest removal and roof line treatment around the perimeter of the roof. Unfortunately, when work was done a few days later, the guys who came only wanted to treat one side of the house and didn't spray at all on the other side. They initially sprayed and didn't knock down the nests, until I asked them to go back up and do so. It was cloudy and rained a for a few days after treatment and I didn't see as many wasps for a couple of weeks after the treatment, but within a month they seemed to come back and were visible flying inside a vent where they have another nest inside. Overall, I was left a bit disappointed with the service. It is now cold, and the wasps are gone for the winter, but I expect them to come back in force as they were beginning to return to their nests at the end of summer/beginning of fall. I was also up in my attic yesterday, and couldn't see any signs of the rodent problem that the inspector told me I had up there. I did not sign up for this additional service at the time of the wasp treatment, and I'm glad I didn't pay for a problem I don't seem to have.

They are the only pest control company that I would use...prompt, honest and reasonable.

The person who came out was great - however there is a $200 minimum fee for the service ($217 with tax). This was not made clear to me before I schedule - and while I could have sent him away after he was here - I wish I knew that before hand (not clear on the vendors angie's list page). Personally it was not worth him to hunt and clean out the one nest for $200 - and in retrospect, should have gone with another vendor.

The service has gone well so far. They sprayed around the outside and 2 areas inside the house. I have not seen the carpenter ants since they sprayed. They sent out a manager to take a look and sign a contract with me. A few days later a technician came out and did nice job. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service.

I will not use them. I canceled the contract. When the guy completed the service, he asked for the full payment and it was supposed to be 4 services over the year. It was over $600 and I told them that nobody told me about that. He said that was how they worked. I told him I wasn't giving him the money. I said I would give them the first payment and after the second treatment, I would pay for it and the third and the fourth. He said that he would write down that I wanted to pay in installments. Somebody called a week or so later and said the best they could do was a third now, a third in a month and the other third the following month. I told them that I would pay upon completion of the service. They said I would have to speak with Steve, the salesman. He called and said they don't do that and I said they don't have me as a customer. I divided it by 4 and sent them a check. Then I got a bill for $200 which was about $30 more. I think it was wrong that they didn't tell me upfront and I won't use them. I don't pay for services in advance because I have been burned too many times. The serviceman was polite. They withheld important information when I signed the agreement. I would not use them and I would not recommend them. Their price was in the ballpark and it was average.
